The look on his face when Hamish suggested Hills ... Kind of a shame they didn't suggest Shane Bourne, he does that well.

He just looked completely stumped for a moment there!
... and, does he? I can't remember.

He does, one of the interviews I've got somewhere he does Shane Bourne. He had a brief moment of attempting Sting but he was in rough voice that day so it didn't go further than a ... well, I guess it was some form of grunt.

I don't think that I've seen that one - although maybe it's just been lost from my somewhat erratic memory.

It's an audio clip one, no footage. Dorian should have it somewhere, though I'm certain I've got it in my folder of files to be sorted.

I might have to visit Dorian sometime. I don't think I've visited him since I was in Merimbula.

I had never heard of this programme, so at work yesterday I watched the clips above and then went onto Youtube and saw a clip of Richard O'Brien singing a song from Rocky Horror and then the host/moderator/whoever!! was saying good night and taking off his shirt and underneath he had on the corset and gstring of Frank-N-Furter. It was so funny. Reminded me of when I saw Rocky Horror in Wellington some years ago and the narrator was Craig Parker and at the end of the show he was in a gstring, fishnet stockings and stilletos and walked up a staircase with his back to the audience. Absolutely gorgeous!!

Just watched Spicks and Specks again. It is so good!!!
I think they had to cut a lot out as it would have been the Anthony Warlow show.
Must take a copy away with me at the weekend.

It's kind of a pity that they did cut a lot out though - less Anthony for us! It was very funny though, the whole lot, but particularly the duet. And Elmo. Going away for the weekend then?

Heh, we're going away too.
Elmo was good, but I was still holding out for the pipecleaner crocodiles.

There is a prize if you can guess what I'm doing. There is sort of a hint in my last entry in the artist name game. It might be a bit of a red herring. I'll keep you guessing a little before I introduce myself. See you all on Sunday.

You went to see Spicks and Specks?

I wish.
The answer is fly fishing. It was the second round of the State Championships. Before you ask it was not a very good weekend for me and I'm now struggling to make the state team of the nationals.

Well if you don't get in this year, can you get in next year?

How many rounds of States are there? You'll be able to recover?

There is one more round to qualify (three in total). I have to come in the top third in the state. Using my two best scores.
I had to miss the first round as I injured my hand. It's still difficult to hold the rod and cast. But that isn't an excuse for a bad result.
I just don't want to miss the Nationals if I can. I'm the only woman in the country to qualify for 6 out of the last 7 years so it's a bit of a thing with me (I've only competed for 8 years). The only other women to qualify have each managed 1 or 2 years.
