You say that like it's a surprise. Confetti and I are an unstoppable force. We'll take over the world some day.

You can keep us perpetually jealous with your ready access to Jelly Tips and chocolate fish! Thank you for the welcome ;D I have to say, I do take Jellytips for granted, they're great on a hideously hot day (especially the last couple of days). Didn't realise chocolate fish weren't a phenomena in Australia, that's so sad. Nik, can I please ask what production Mr Warlow is in that shows up in your avatar? Was just sitting here doing some Mikado sums (plane ticket etc) Got depressed, so bought a lottery ticket instead - if I'm a millionaire tonight, I'll book my tickets! Keeping animals keeps me poor - I do love them but they're forever testing me. Today, one of my dear horses has pushed down the electric fence, wandered into my garden and tried to eat a rose, my best rose! I tried to explain how much that rose has cost me, but she didn't seem interested ;D

And I suspect that you and I probably have very different definitions of a hideously hot day. We're "enjoying" 48 degrees at the moment. Which I think definitely deserves a Jelly Tip or two. Holy guacamole, yep, we do have a different definition! It got up to about 32ish degrees here (I'm about an hour's drive south-east of Auckland) and was very humid - hard to work when your brain is melting and your fingers are sweating as you type. Further down the country I think it got close to 40 degrees. You definitely deserve a jelly-tip or two - if I could send some, I would! When you say chocolate fish, do you mean the ones with pink marshmellow in the middle? I had no idea I was so lucky ;D The horse (Carrie) is now in disgrace, locked up in her paddock. I'm new to rose-keeping, so I don't know how to assess the damage. I'm hoping it will be alright!

You guys don't have chocolate fish there?? I'll have to bring a stash over during LADS for all the deprived! But omg, you guys have that fantastic nougat that I cannot for the life of me find over here. (It's seriously so good. I even emailed the company to ask if they sold it here at all, that's how much I liked it -_-).

Yep, it's from the Phantom Halloween party. Thank the Lord for Stalker book! Sorry for my confusion (being old and slow) - you got to go to their party? Or that's a doctored photo?

don't worry about it farmgirl - sometimes it can seem like we're speaking a foreign language over here! But you'll be bilingual before you know it! Thank you for your help Nik I'm doubly disadvantaged, technologically and language-wise - for example, we've just had fush and chups for tea (fish and chips to you Australians). Good thing you can't hear my accent! And as for smutty, I'm happy to report I've understood all that I've read so far, despite my age ;D I love that "expand" you use to cover up naughty things, that's very clever.

@ chimaera - now you have me intrigued. Which nougat? It's called....*consults wrapper on her desk*....Golden Boronia *drools* Does that ring a bell?? I tend to wonder if it tastes particularly good to me coz I can't readily get it -_- www.golden-boronia.com/ (yes, they are so fab they have a website ;D) I even filled out that form to get the list of distributors but they never actually sent it, so I never found out if there actually is somewhere to buy them from over here *sigh* ETA: I'm doubly disadvantaged, technologically and language-wise - for example, we've just had fush and chups for tea (fish and chips to you Australians). Good thing you can't hear my accent! Gah! David R-S specifically made me say 'dent' in Auckland and then giggled about it. So I made him say feesh. And siiiiix. And giggled about that. TBH I barely notice it anymore, must be watching too much Home and Away *hides*

farmgirl - yep, the marshmallow ones. I forgot to add - you can buy chocolate fish online from an NZ wesbite (but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post a website link or not and I don't want to get into any more trouble, so I'll wait for one of you to tell me if I can or not!)

^ Nik, does that mean I shouldn't tempt you by bringing some across the ditch come LADS? XD
And yes, those are the ones. I can never decide which I like better, the crunchy or the soft. And they have lots of flavours; some real random ones too, like peppermint and green tea ^^

farmgirl - I hope they were kumara chups! I loved those. Have you discovered the "spoiler" button yet? That's the one that hides/expands your text. It's the round green button at the far right of the second row of icons. Woohoo, found it!!! Sorry, nothing smutty here! I love it, that's so clever! No Nik, ordinary chups tonight, but very good (then again, is it possible to have a bad chup?). Ah yes, the waistline - very strong of you to resist. I have a friend with a two year old daughter who loves "Iced Animals" (do you guys have those?). Haven't had one since I was a child (back in 1875 or so ;D), and ended up sneaking down to the children's biscuit aisle to buy a box. Bad news for the waistline that children's biscuit aisle

Well, that's what it feels like, now I've figured out the ages of most of you! ;D
The 1980s would be more accurate, but that seems like it was about 130 years ago. Thinking about it, having a responsible job and a mortgage really ages one quite quickly, and why are years going past so blindingly fast?

I did love the 80's puerly for the music, but being a teeny in that era, what could I do but follow the hideous fashion trends of fluro yellow leggings, hot pink leg warmers and massive white ripped T shirt with hair teased that stood out all the way to pluto.

It's be nice to send some of the 80s fashions back 130 years! Haha! The hairstyles for a start (shudder), let alone the clothes. Ok, I have a couple of US technical questions - why am I a "scientist", and where does that big smilie you all use come from? Oh, and how did I get that avatar (totally delicious as it is) - is that an automatic avatar for a newbie?

Wow, leg warmers, those were the days before global warming. Mine were really pretty (pink) too. Scientist is because you are a new member it changes with the amount of posts. If you are talking of this smilie just click on the XD one. Ah, so I presume at some point, when one has posted enough, you get to choose a new title for yourself? Found it, thank you Poppy!
