Hi to all the newbies. Great to see you the Ant love being shared around.
Aimee, I am so jealous that you get a special pet name from our man. I have met him a couple of times but am just a face in the crowd. I am very envious of you getting such individual attention.
Bonnie - I am envious of you going to see POTO every week. You must have been saving for ages. Unfortunately I cannot avoid to go so frequently but I am making an effort to go at least once a month.
I had to laugh when I read about you musings when Anthony is in the Angel as I have thought the same thing - what can he do sitting there for so long. Do you reckon he has a seat built in? Heck of a long time to be hanging around.
One of my memories from 1990 is when I was sitting near the front, I was looking up into the riggings of the theatre. I could see Anthony just leaning over watch down on the performance. It was just before getting into the angel. He must have noticed my face looking up when everyone else was looking ahead as he gave a little wave - then took off todo his thing.
Looking forward to Neh's review on her return but will not be surprised if she does not see him after the performance. Word is because of the heavy schedule, Anthony is looking after himself and this means not mixing with the general public much as anyone could have a cold or flu and pass this on.
Would be great if she does track him down though - you go girl.

I use to get called darling then he saw me more and more and it became 'little girl' LOL now mum gets darling i think, mum stands back and lets me go and Anthony asks where she is and waves over to her lol its funny.
It took me from 1990 to when i met him for the 1st time at the magic flute i waited that whole time and i can just say dont give up for those who have yet to meet Anth. Its worth it in the end.
After 3 autographs you run outta things to give him to sign lol i got the patience video signed, Annie program and the Magic Flute program signed.
But the photos are more worth it

Hey everyone! My names Bridget! Im 14 yrs old, live in VIC Australia and I'm very excited about joining an Anthony Warlow Fan community!!! WOOOT! Well, just a little about me. This is how i got introduced to Anthony - just throwing it out there.. I first got introduced to Phantom of the Opera about 2 years ago when i got the dvd for x-mas, i absolutely fell in love with it so I decided to learn to play some of the pieces on piano, then my piano teacher mentioned him a few times and that she proffered Anthony Warlow as the 'phantom' than michael crawford and I compared him to Michael aswell and happily agreed! THEN I found out that PHANTOM OF THE OPERA was opening in AUSTRALIA - MELBOURNE!!!! WOOOT!!! Sooo my parents bought us tickets and we got to see Phantom of the Opera!!! and Anthony LIVE! (this is somin to get excited about for me!!! lol ) anyway so yeah it was sooooo totally awesome and im saving up to go see it again before to moves to Brisbane! As soon as he was on stage and I singing I was in a total trance!!! His voice is sooooooo sooo AMAZING! and his ACTING is ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!!! I was just     *bows* *thud* the whole time!! (whilst trying to manage not drooling! lol) soo i havnt known of him for a loooong time but now, its another obsession of mine. speaking of which... i absolutely ADORE JOHNNY DEPP! i kinda dedicated my av and sig to johnny cas i dont hav any ant pics yet (i havent been able to find much) he is by far my favourite actor in the whole wide world and i think hes just absolutely brilliant 'cas hes not only an AMAZING actor but hes a complete individual and not to mention is also blessed with good looks! im also a mad LOST (tv show) fan and a hardcore PotC fanatic and as I said early I've fallen in love with Phantom of the Opera!! eh just a few hobbies.. basketball, footy, drawing, reading, acting, watching movies, surfing and anything to do with my obsessions. soo yeahh thats, well more then a lil bit about me but ehh yeahh.  apologies in advance if ive written to much! hope to get to know u all well! bridg xx |

Scuffa, we tried so very much to meet Ant but he's both quick and sneaky coz he left out back and we never saw him despite waiting an extra hour and 15 mins in the cold.... sob! Hopefully Mar will have more luck; i defy Ant to be able to ignore or escape her adoration!!! Aimee, since our futile attempts to meet the man, my jealousy with reagrds to your great great good fortune has increased ten fold *shakes fist*

thanx neh! i hope to too! oh and when we went to see PotO we waited around for ages becas i specifically wanted to meet Ant but the security guy came and told us everyone had gone so he must have left out the back way! like u said. i was very depressed!  lol i was a bit cheerful tho cas we managed to catch John Bowles who played Raoul. |

Hi Cassie, glad you found us and welcome! You'll have opportunities to see my other fav. guy (Harry Connick Jr), as he lives in New York like you... so I envy you that! Harry only comes to Oz every five years or there-about, and Anthony recently said in an interview that if the right show came along he would go overseas... so you may get to see him do something on Broadway one day. I would have loved to have seen Harry in PJ Game last year, but couldn't even consider traveling that far... maybe someday! |

Hi, Bridget and Cassie, welcome to our board! Here're more people I must live through now. Well, Cassie you're still lucky to have caught him in Phantom, while some of the members here have never seen him live on stage.
About the stage door issue, well if what scuffa said is true, then he should attend the stage door more after the epidemic flu season is over. After all, it's more important for him to let more people see him on stage than to let more fans see him at the stage door.
Edit: But still it'd nicer if he cares more about the fans at the stage door. Wish you all good luck next time, oh especially Mar.

Hi I'm new to all of this so I just thought I'd simply pop in and say hi...so erm...'Hi!'  I admittedly and embarrassingly only recently discovered the greatness of Anthony Warlow. But better late than never, so deprived I was...Luckily being a POTO 'phan' I went to see the show here in Melbourne and it was both incredible and enlightening. I discovered that Anthony was simply superb and inexpressibly talented, and Ana Marina also deserves an honorable mention. The night was simply amazing. To cut the story short, I just had to hear some more of Anthony. It is very disappointing to hear that the probability of the release of an Australian Cast Recording is practically statistically insignificant. Although, a cd recording will never compare with the actual thing...I think I've been grinning unconsciously at every thought of the phantom since seeing the show, it was that good. Alas, I shall leave it at that and it is awesome finding this forum with like-minded Ant fans Pleased to meet you guys. |

A lot of people have been moaning for the cast recording. Yet since they didn't manage to make a cast recording for the original cast, there's less chance for a revival now. But I hope there'd be at least a highlights or promo recording.

We must keep our hopes up for an Australian Cast recording. I mean, we have one for Cats and Beauty and the Beast, so why not Phantom of the Opera? It would save them the trouble of hunting down and destroying all the bootleg that is that might be out there.
