Welcome to the Unexpected Song Green Room!! On most forums and boards ther is usually a thread wher u can just chat about anything, from a pink, fluffy toilet seat to a piece of sweet, melt in your mouth Cadbury chocolate bar, random, i know, but thats what u can chat about in this thread, anything and everything. That way we dont have off topic discussions in other threads. if that makes sense . . . anywho i thought id make a creative name and since we hav a 'Backstage' section i thought it makes sense to hav a Green Room wher we can just chill and chat . . . and begin scheming how we are all going to sneak our way into the Princess Theatre Green Room and abduct Anthony! Any takers? lol
ok to kick it off
r u guys doing anything special these christmas holidays travelling internationally, state wide or just going anywher for a holiday? i no im going up to coolangatta in the last week! woo hoo! slip slop slap for me! bring on the beach! so yeah what r u up to for the hols?

Hey, good idea! I'm going to sticky this thread. I've only been in one real green room ((though on numerous occasions)) and that's up at the Renmark Chaffey Theatre; one of the photos on the wall is of a sweaty ((but sexy)) Jon English during a performance at the Chaffey back in 1987 ... ... You were referring to Anteasers, weren't you? We're not doing anything special for the holidays; we never really do. We just set up the decorations, unwrap the pressies on the morn', then go back to a normal day; usually in our pyjamas unless there's other things to be done ((sometimes mother has to work)). I think my sister may be coming up again this year' unless she's working.

lol i feel special!! XD yay iv only been in one aswell and that was at GPAC (Geelong Performing Arts Centre) and it was actually green, cas most green rooms arnt actually green. lol lol yes i was referring to Anteasers *coughiknewthatcough* yeah same here wer doing the usual Christmas tradition of waking up in the morning, unwrapping all the prezzies and then heading down to my grandmas (dads mum) for a lunch with all our family on dads side. however its going to be a hard xmas for mum cas we usually do something with a family on mums side as well except mums mother passed away during the year so we mit just do somin with our aunts, uncles and cousins. but anywho im getting into the 'summer holiday' swing of things (staying up til late in the night and sleeping in til late in the morning! not to rub it in! ) i really want to go see phantom a third and final time b4 it finishs but i dont no anyone who wants to go. i would go by myself and just pay for a really good seat up the front in the stalls. and then i want to see if i can catch on his way out. anywho il hav to get bak to my sucking up to mum.

The green room in Renmark is white ... but it has green chairs ...
If it weren't for expenses I'd go a third time too. I wonder if the seats for my week in Melbourne have been filled ... *runs off to check*

I watch NCIS only when my folks are out ((they don't like it and are usually watching one thing and taping another when it's on)), which isn't often, but I like Thank God You're Here.

I watch thank god you're here and am quite the NCIS addict, but lately they've just been running the repeats of NCIS so haven't watched it in a while. I've got the first 3 seasons on dvd anyway. Speaking of which, wonder when they'll have season 4 out in Aust.

erm, I'm not quite with u mar. but what ever it is it sounds interestingly funny anyway! how funny was it when Ant did an impersonation of Shane Bourne when he was being interviewed by Ernie on 3AW! haha! but i have to admit it wasnt his best, but it was pretty good anyway! yeah i wish theyd do another season of TGYH cas at the moment they only hav the replays on Sunday nights, well i think they still do. i could just imagine Ant on it though! and id think he'd do really well as well. he really seems good at improvising! my fav characters from NCIS would have to be McGee and DiNozzo but i must admit Abbey is very cool! im not completely obsessed but i watch the odd episode and when i do, i enjoy them. but like u said gizelmo theyr just the repeats. my real passion tho is LOST and then Prison Break, but i have been a big fan of LOST since the start and im hoping it does come back! like all the other tv shows! *mumbles under breath* damn script writers strike!

It was from one of this season's episodes where the host of Can We Help You ((he plays Brett on Kath and Kim)) was dressed up as a superhero who had - along with his female side-kick - been caught by his enemy ((who was dressed in a toxic waste barrel)). There's only a few bits I remember of Thank God You're Here from this year', though, like the exploding corgis and the elves with their feet on fire ...

I can't stand Orlando Bloom - his name doesn't help much either. I think Depp's a wonderful actor ((though admittedly I'm not one to go ga-ga over him; the only men that do that for me are Warlow, Rickman, O'Brien, Curry, Bowie, Rush, Mann ... and probably more that I've forgotten)). And I like Jack more as a character than Will. Far more interesting.

Lol. yeah Orlando's not my type either. Hes alrit though, I dont mind him. Hehee! iv been in love with Johnny since I was little. I saw Edward Scissorhands and it absolutely broke my heart! lol But its funny cas I never actually realised it was the same guys in all these movies i loved. Anyway u meaning Geoffrey rush? I must admit hes also a pretty good actor but not my type. lol ohhh yes! Jack is a lot *cough* more interesting! XD

I agree with you Mar about Depp. Good actor (loved Chocolat) and nice to look at but wouldn't go ga-ga. I mean, I'd do him for practice until someone I reeeeeallllly fancied came along, but he wouldn't be my first choice! That would be Warlow, Hobson, TT Rhodes, Richard Armitage, Hugh Grant (I know!!!), Colin Firth, Nigel Havers and Kevin Spacey.
