Mar, shame on you, pointing the guilty finger! No, no - i know Sandra initiated it but i just like teasing you, mwahahaha!
And Belle, i agree it *sounds* synthesised but in fact it was done by this program where Emmy recorded every single vocal track ("Slow Me Down" had upwards of 150) and put them on a keyboard, so no computers are actually used. I do think some of the songs are really overdone and it's a shame, coz just her voice alone sounds quite lovely - that's why i prefer the piano version of Slow Me Down and Inside Out. If you listen to Anymore, you can hear the only track on the cd where it's totally her voice alone - and it makes you wonder why she didn't do that for more of them, but she said she wanted to try something different. I don't feel the countless Imogen Heap and Enya references are fair, but oh well... i do really like some of the numbers, including the title track, High, Stay and Lullaby.

Nothing to do with Belle's birthday, except that my random icing comments may have had something to do with my excited anticipation! Yeah we do make egg-free cakes and most are pretty good, but what I really miss is just have a coffee and slice of cake at a cafe, and most desserts at restaurants have egg so I often can't have any dessert when we have dinner out somewhere... it's just a royal pain in the ass - I always have to check what's in stuff and thats embarrassing, so I mostly just do without.

Does anyone remember those little paper-like things you put on cupcakes and they're got pictures on them like Mickey Mouse and so forth? We need a big one. Much easier to print than spending time sculpting with brown icing.
