Has anyone managed to watch the recent episode (March 28) of "Friday Night Project"? It featured a HILARIOUS segment of 'Watch Out Tennant's About' where they play a prank on an unsuspecting estate agent, where Tennant is 'kidnapped' by a fan. It's so great, I had to share! youtube.com/watch?v=W3pqIERFdbs The whole Friday Night Project is great too! And the new season of 'Who starts next week!

Hiya, i'm so sorry - i would have responded to this sooner had i been more observant! Yeh, the Tennant always does some funny stuff on that show, like last year.. or was it the year before?.. when he dressed up as the Dr's assistant with the blonde wig and dress etc. What a man! And i'm really liking the new series, notably because i know who will be back soon, and i'm over the moon!!!!!!!

Ha, didn't notice there was a reply here til now! But yeah- Friday Nights with David are always fun (and I say that after he's only done two... I think) He seems so good natured about things! Don't know if you've heard, but he's going to be on "Trick of Treat" this Friday, where Derren Brown will play a trick or a treat on him. Can't wait to see that! As I too can't wait for the big assistant round-up at the end of this series of Doctor Who!

Ahhh David Tennant in Doctor Who... Aw.. I miss that show - sucks being in Ireland where its stopped being shown on TV3 and where the BBC is only accesible in a living room which is moreoften occupied by TV hogging parentals.

Okay that was awesome. Thanks thisbe!
I love David, his doctor is equal fav for me out of the 10 of them. I liked Chris, he was excellent, but David just brought a whole new zest to the role that just hooked me completely -as well as my parents and more then a few other people I know who were not exactly big Dr Who fans...

I actually had high hopes for David and after the first few episodes, really got into him in a big way.
I just saw the Christmas special yesterday with Smith and I'm cautiously optimistic...we'll have to see.

Well, young's not necessasy a bad thing. Unless he makes the character seem too young.

I know her from something else aswell.... not just Jekyll.
Matt Smith is a great young actor, i can assure you. Anyone who can, fix yourself for a Doc-themed splurge and watch the Sally Lockhart mysteries; Billie Piper stars and Matt is a great supporting role - he's a cheeky, charming lad and i really look forward to seeing what he does as the Doc.

It is indeed - dam Bil and her multitude of connections, always linking back to Who-ville! And yep, that chic was Maria...
And another Bil/Matt Smith connection; he was in an ep (or mabye a few) of Diary of a Call Girl, also.

As proof reader or the Doc's new gal, Nik?

Well, I do think it's about time the Doc had a pet.... mabye something exceedingly random and rare...

Is that the furry thing out of The Dark Crystal? He looks familar, and that's all I can think of.

Yeah, Fizzgig. I love that little thing. I want one.

Fizzgig! Thank you, I was trying to remember his name. I loved that movie when I was a little tacker. At least once I spent a day running around with a plastic bag stuck in the back of my shorts as a tail, pretending I was a Gelfling. From memory, it ended terribly as I forgot about the bag until it fell into the toilet. Oops.
Too much information? However, I was only five or so, kids are allowed to do daft things...

I actually never watched it as a kid; I got it a few years' ago and as I was watching the deterioration of the Emporer I kept yelling "CAN THEY DO THAT?!" Although I don't know why I was surprised, considering they said " s t " in Legend.

I haven't watched it for years. In hindsight, I should have bought that double DVD with the Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal. Alas. So now I've only got one and I have to hunt down the other.

I've always been too scared to watch Dark Crystal, hehe. The other kids used to warn me about it.
Anyone watch the Doc Christmas special tonight? I quite enjoyed it - love myself some David Morrisey (check out his Brandon in the latest Sense and Sensibility) - i like it whenever the show explores that particular time period. And i was holding it together fine until the last minute and he spoke of his companions "I suppose in the end.... they break my heart" - and that did it. I sobbed into my dinner.

I bought them seperately because I've already got two copies of Labby. I only got Dark Crystal to see what it was all about.
And I only got Legend for Tim Curry, but I think the glitter on his hooves was a bit much.

neh, hate to sound daft, but, Doc Christmas?
I haven't seen Legend. Is it good? Apart from the over glittery hooves...

Uh ...
No and yes; mainly no.
The worst thing is seeing Tom Cruise crouching in golden armour with no pants.

Oh.
That would be somewhat disturbing. *makes mental note not to watch Legend*
Just thinking of these kinds of movies, I liked Willow, too. We even got to watch it in English or something once, which was somewhat amusing.

I don't think I know of Willow.
Fredus, watch it once. You don't see anything because conveniently one of the puppets is in the way ((or something)). But just watch it for the sake of watching it. You'll probably end up yelling at the screen about all the illogicalities, but at least you've seen it once.

Righty-o. If that is the case, I will hunt down a copy and watch it. I have a habit of finding the illogicalities in movies in any case, so at least I can use Legend for practice.
I'm not entirely sure if that last sentence makes sense, but if not, tell me, and I'll try to fix it tomorrow when my brain's working again.

It made sense to the late-night brain.
I think we need a list of illogical movies that need to be seen for the sake of being seen. Phantom of the Paradise and Legend already come to mind.
