Yeah, I usually watch Chloe. Although in Auckland I was watching Roy most of the time!

Simon is pretty amusing too. He gets really into the arm movements.

I know they must base the wigs for each Chris on the base colour of the actresses hair, but for me - as pretty as Julie looks - it's somewhat strange to see a Chris with light brown hair!

It would be weirder to have a blonde or redhead...puts me out of the running though

Even through the original Christine was blonde ...
I wouldn't mind seeing a blonde Christine.
Actually ... I think I might have somewhere on YouTube ...
... might have ...
I wouldn't make the cut either. I may be pale for a half Asian but I'm not THAT pale.

I like to not acknowledge the Queen of the Rabid Racoons, even though is she awesome in Repo What's Julie's natural colour? I think I heard somewhere that she's a blonde. I like the look of dark hair, although usually Swedes do have lighter hair... (What with M. Daae being Swedish and whatnot).

Her hair was a sort of brown/blonde at the LSS; maybe a light brunette?
But in all the Phantom pics of QotRR her hair was brown; she didn't actually go blonde on stage did she? Like, truly a blonde Christine?

No, heck no, all Christine's are brunettes. On stage anyway.
I just realised I have a photo of Julie at LSS *facepalm* Her hair looks- dyed light brunette. Or what I can see of it.

I've only got one of her and it isn't helping much. We should ask her. LPS crew, your mission: Discover Julie's natural hair colour.

I recall someone saying blonde, and another saying redhead. But she looks light brunette in the photos I have...

I always thought she was blonde and in older photos she seems to have dark blonde hair. In Auckland she was quite blonde.

So she's blonde? We're going with blonde?

I've always thought of her as a blonde; but hair dyes don't help much. It'll be good to get this clarified. I hate unanswered questions.

I'm hoping to get into Adelaide a couple of days early so I can catch Julie in a show. Don't get me wrong, Marina is godlike, but I'd really like to see Julie try the role. Dito Simon or Roy for the Phantom.

You need to see Julie do PONR. You haven't seen Phantom until you've seen that But she is an amazing Christine.

I'm pretty sure Julie is dark blonde, naturally. Just from the School Spectacular days, that's what i recall. But yeh, all stage Chris' are brunettes, i just thought it was funky to see a lighter coloured wig.
The 1990 Charles Dance tv Phantom had a blonde Chris - for once! Coz yeh, Leroux's was blonde.

Indeed, original Christine was blonde- probably because Swedes are usually blonde. She's been brunette in most versions though.

Was just flipping through Foxtel and saw that the 2005 School Spectacular was on and just watched Julie sing a BEAUTIFUL duet. If you want to watch it, I am sure that it will be replayed today and tomorrow!

Finally saw Julie at the matinee on May 23rd; and oh my, what a thrill. Will have to form coherent praise at a later date but rest assured that i have never seen a Christine portrayal quite like that. Brava a million times over Julie! And to think i didnt think to say a word of that when we saw her at the airport!

It was good to see Julie's mum at her final performance as Christine- and what a performance it was! Her acting and singing had somehow gotten even better. A fantastic show- made even better by the fact I was sitting next to Chloe Smith's old ballet teacher and a good friend of Nadia's mum- small world, eh?

Got to see Julie in West Side Story in Sydney, she was great! It's a great show if anyone is thinking of going. The dancing is so good.
Anyone else had a chance to see her in it?

Question - has anyone bought Julie's CD? The whole Annie thing reminded me that I wanted to look into it.... and having looked, I can't find a list of the songs on it! All I can find is a list of three songs, but that didn't seem right... so, anyone know what's on her CD?
