Well ... no, not yet; she's got a rose on her wrist though, and I remember she once mentioned she was considering getting one there.

Lauren, I know I have a one-track mind but I would remember if it was me. I'll have to ask phantasy about it...

She's been bogged down with a lot of stuff and hasn't been here in a while. I wonder how the website's going though.

I've got everyone's e-mail addresses and there's only a few that seem to prefer talking to me over msn rather than joining in with the community ...
But I haven't heard from Bridget (phantasy) in a while.

Unwinding, this font is pretty close. You just need to make it bigger and do it in bold and it looks good. AL Verdigris Font

Oh, thank-you again, Jayko! That's one of the things about the movie I absolutely adored.
A font.

Scuffa - thanks, I do have that CD just hadn't played it for many years. (Because I didn't have my cd player hooked up until recently after four house moves). I had been watching my DVD of Carmen Jones last week and couldn't believe it when I came across Anthony's version -I think his version of Stand up and fight is far superior to the singer in the film. Talking about CD's, I also played Midnight Dreaming cd at the weekend, and have to say (don't shoot me down here) that I didn't enjoy it at all.

It's a bit like Tenor and Baritone, in that you have to let it grow on you. I was much the same when I first heard Midnight Dreaming, but the more you listen and pay attention to the notes and lyrics you'll find it's a very pretty album. Not stunning, admittedly, but pretty nonetheless.
I suppose the "grow on you" thing must also apply to Face the Music; I was a bit skeptical of it at first due to all the bad reviews it had received, but now it's one of my favourites; it's just so much fun and you can hear that he enjoyed doing it.

I love Face the Music, have Centre Stage and the Best of Act One here at work to play when there is no-one around, but Midnight Dreaming just seems too "wishy washy" for me. I love to hear his powerful voice on songs like Luck Be a Lady, The Impossible Dream, etc. Still, each to his own I guess - it would be a sad world if we all liked all the same things.

I think Midnight Dreaming is best listened to in a dimmed room, in front of an open fire with a glass of red wine in your hand. It soothes me after a bad day at work. I love it!

It's his romance album, after all. I never really heard Moon River romantically before; it was just a song before. All very soothing song choices ...
And with Unexpected Song again. ;D

Midnight Dreaming grew on me too, and it has grown to be almost my favorite one among his solo albums. I said almost, because sometimes I'd still prefer some more big dramatic numbers. But IMO Midnight Dreaming really displays Anthony's technique in romantic lyric songs to the most subtle aspects. The songs are slow, but I think it's a bit like in the ballet dancing, the slow-movement adagio demonstrates the choreography and the dancing skills the best, according to some expertise. And his high notes, usually at the end of the songs, are actually more smooth and broad and soaring, IMO. It's like the strength conserves at the beginning, builds to the end and soars to the vault of heaven finally. The choices of songs are good too. I think the songs in its order very well tell a romantic experience, like a man reflecting on his past life in the midnight. I find it very inspiring and comforting listening to the album sitting down after a day's work. And I've always had a soft spot for those subtle, bitter and sweet moments.
For some reason, Face The Music didn't grew on me that much, sadly. So I guess, yeah, the world is so diverse. :-)

I think "grow on you" should be used as a practically literal statement in regards to me. I've had a different song from Tenor and Baritone in my head for the past week at work. I do love the album, but really! My brain is driving me insane. (Not like it already hadn't.)
I feel sorry for all my coworkers who have had to deal with me humming those tracks--uh, a bit too loudly for a department store--ad nauseum. At least it kept spirits up considering the Father's Day rush on Saturday was hell! ;D

It's good see that we do have some diversity- imagine if we all just loved the exact same things? Most conversation here wouldn't happen!
