I bring truly exciting news for those of you who:
a) have never heard of Middle Eight Music or
b) have yet to hear of MEM's new special promotion
First, the low-down:
Middle Eight Music is a specialist musical theatre shop in South Yarra, Victoria. I have personally spent well into 4-digits on their enormous stock, which includes hard-to-get musicals (did someone say "Original 1943 Broadway Cast of Oklahoma!"?) as well as caberet artists from around Australia and the world. They're also a stockist for Opera Australia (they even have the never-released-in-Australia DVD of Orpheus et Eurydice starring David Hobson!) and are an official stockist for Anthony's record label Skylark. They have an (almost) complete range of all Anthony-related CDs and have a poster signed by Mr Warlow and Mr. Hobson hanging proudly in their shop.
Second, the deal:
Middle Eight has just started a promotional deal which gives new members who are referred by existing ones a 10% discount on their first order! Here's the deal in their own words:
"Introduce a new customer who makes a purchase from us by 31 May 2007 and we will give them an introductory discount of 10% on their first order...
To qualify, simply tell your friends to let us know that you referred them when they make their first purchase. This can be done in the shop, or by telephone, or by email if they are placing their order through the website. There isn't a field in the website order form for messages so all they have to do is send us an email as soon as they've placed their order. We will apply the 10% discount before processing their order...
This promotion applies to anyone you refer to us who is not an existing customer of Middle Eight Music and who makes their first purchase from us by 31 May 2007. Easy!"
Thirdly, the way to do it:
This is the website you need to have as an internet bookmark, favourite, keypadded into your mobile phone and tattooed on your shoulder next to the ink of Anthony:

Go online, find something that you want (and believe me - there's enough there!) and send off your order form. Straight afterwards, you'll need to send them an email telling them that you're a new customer, that you love Anthony (or David Hobson, or Andrew Lloyd-Webber or whoever - - so you get on the super-special mailing list!!) and that you were referred by Greg Eldridge.
It's also worth sending them an e-mail if you want something that they don't have in stock, because over the years they've tracked down seemingly impossible-to-get CDs and DVDs for me.

MEM stocks a wide selection of Musical Theatre, Operetta, Opera, Caberet, Classical Music and some specialist Jazz, so there should be something for most people we're friends with!
