Should I own up to putting that idea in your head, Bec?

You've put alot of ideas in my head. Might as well take credit for them.

Didn't we cast "Emptiness: the Musical" one night over msn unwinding? I seem to recall a rather interesting conversation...

I think there was a bit of an argument over how Roy could be worked into the plot as well. I cant remember what we came up with though

I could see Roy as Phillipe, the shameless womanizer.
(Sorry Roy)

And now I'm going to instantly think of Emptiness every time I hear that song.

It was on the radio before- while I was re-reading Emptiness. I was both amused and horrified at the same time. Amused because of the coincidence, horrified because of the images sudddenly invading my brain.

It's strangely ironic that you will now think of Emptiness when you hear a song called 'womanizer'...

Congratulations to Alex! I guess this counts as his Broadway debut? (You need to read down the page to find him mentioned, BTW) Australia Plays BroadwayFor WWW attendees, I hope Amanda is back in the country by the weekend, though I've heard from people who've seen them that both U/S are simply outstanding. And you know how we love to collect understudies.

I know someone who is best friend with the Elphie understudy, so if y'all catch her, be sure to applaud loudly.
Yay for Aussies on the Great White Way!!!!! - i have several US pals who i must inform of this. Congrats to Alex, although i would have liked to see other names amoung the list aswell.... local man of awesome David Harris is just one name that springs to mind....

Congrats to Alex! We need more people like him showcasing Australia's fantastic talent. (There's one person on that list who made me cringe. Can't stand the guy.)
As for WW, I hear Amanda's out of the country then. Like you said, from all accounts Jemma Stevenson is just as wonderful -- she's been playing Elphaba for a while now. I'm also interested to see if we'll get the understudy during Sat mat. Will be a blast either way.

Much as i love B'way world for their news, they do that often with linkage - especially with photos. Should we all take a stab at what songs we think they may all perform? No doubt someone will probably be paired with Alex for AIAOY, although personally i'd love it if he perfomed Johanna aswell. I'm wondering what Livvy will do, aside from a Grease number of course... I recall seeing Amanda do a stirring Your Daddy's Son from Ragtime once; that'd be awesome.
