Well, I know at Calisthenics we did Madame Butterfly a few years ago and had Kimono-esque wrap jackets that are pink with reflective glittering all over them, made of thin chiffon. I might be able to nab them, if I pull some strings...

Hi If you can please add me to the list for a group booking, that will be fantastic. I'd love to be included. Just tell me where to sign my life away!
And I'd love to try and actually meet you all this time!

Mods- could we start a list in the first post? We've got a few people confirmed so we should probably get names organised...

Mods- could we start a list in the first post? We've got a few people confirmed so we should probably get names organised... I'll create another subforum for it in the Events catagory, then someone can start a thread and start making the alterations. Is it just showing in 09 or is it 09-10?

I'm pretty sure it's only 09, ain't it folks? It's a considerably short run, from what i've been told. And i'm all for sparkly kimono jacket thingys, if they're easy enough to create. I'll go for a sequin effect, seeing as sequins are the only things i can sew onto material!

Don't mind me, I'm just sad this'll be something else I'm missing out on. First Bernadette Peters, then Simon and Garfunkel, now this. I would love to be able to see Fiebig and Warlow in the same production for once, it's going to be fantastic!

And you're certain beyond all levels of vague uncertainty that you can't make it? ?? *wide, wide hopeful eyes* Ah, Bernedette. I would have loved to have basked in her awesomeness....

Aw Mar I had tickets for myself and Mum to see Simon & Garfunkel...but I donated my ticket so that Dad could take Mum instead. Yeah, I'm that nice...sometimes! Still wish I could have gone too, why oh why didn't I buy more tickets? Oh, that's right, I'm a poor-ass uni student haha! ;D But I am feeling your pain a bit, I'm desperate to see Ben Folds when he tours in August, but tickets are already on sale and (shock horror) I am broke as usual.

I'm certain. There's only a rough chance that I'll earn $5,700 from being a substitute teacher for the next two terms ((I'm helping out my vocal teacher by teaching her students on alternate days of the week)), but that's only if I get all of the students attending their lesson each week. Even then, there's things I've got to pay for - petrol, rego, insurance, et cetera. Anyway, Mikado is SOON. My bank account is still suffering from LADS, so there's no way in Hell that I'd be able to afford a ticket to a single show ((let alone acc. and travel expenses)) at this point in time. At least not for another 5 years or so.
Oh, and Claire, Alexa tells me S&G were great. 2 full hours with 3 encores, no opening bands.
