I think you will find that a lot of people who are on the stage are fundamentally shy and introverted people at heart and the stage persona is a way of acting out what their real persona is unable to do because of the innate shyness. Playing a part is a lot easier than being yourself in some situations.

I would have liked them to put in the photo he mentions, although it sounds like one of the most random photos ever, like she thought "I'm just going to take a photo. because I feel like it" XD

He wore his own dressing gown in Secret Garden?
And why would you pace around the backyard? I'd be pacing around the phone, willing it to ring. XD

Why not? He wore one in Die Fledermaus ...
... which is the exact shame shade as my sister's old one, only hers is shorter and partly see-through.

that'd be comfy... its like im taking this costume home because i own it! I did that once- when I was 8 we did "Grease" at Cal, and we all finished in jeans and a white t-shirt. I went home in that outfit with my hair still up and make-up on, instead of showering at the theatre like usual....everyone just left in full make-up and costume. Our coach went nuts! Partly see-through Mars? Alrighty..... *giggletantrum*

It's a Summer dressing gown, that's why; flimsy material.

Being as it's her old one, she left it here when she moved out about 4 years' ago. She always wore PJs under it, of course, and I think mum wore it once, but since she moved out it isn't really worn unless she comes home for a visit.
I'm trying so hard to keep myself together - at least for the next half hour'.

No no, it's just a quote from the Broadway Cast Recording of RENT. I must ask Dorian if he has that, actually.

I see. Saw a local production here a few years ago. Eldest son was in it. I really enjoyed it. Fabulous story.

Do newspaper articles count? I have a couple from when phantom started in melbourne but I have no idea how to put them on here (and I always thought I was good with computers!!)

Yeah they count. Just scan them onto your computer, save the image in an image hosting site ((Photobucket, Tinypic, et cetera)) and then insert the IMG url

Those were the articles that weren't publicised in S.A.'s papers. All we got was one small box in some obscure part of the Entertainment section written by someone who was bitching that there were no backers and therefore we were once again left in the dark for top shows and performers.
Damn right.
And you did very well ^_^

I suppose I'm quite greedy when it comes to affection; possibly because it's rare I ever get it ((21 years' of existence and still no boyfriend; I think I could go for a record)). I feel happy yet empty.
Or just messed up.
