I suck at making new threads, but I've been thinking about this for awhile and since there's some more life around here...
This seems to be the year for weird predictions. Everyone has been going nuts about the whole 'the world is going to end this year blah blah blah' thing... well, okay, so that's it for major predictions, but another site I'm on (GaiaOnline, if anyone wants to know) had an interesting thread about predictions for the site.
I thought we could do something similar. Except... better. And later.
So... this is a call for predictions for 2012 - any and all predictions, but particularly pertaining to Warlow and other US areas of interest.
I have a pile, but don't want to swamp the field straight off, so my favourite (closely followed by everyone else's suggestions):
Prediction: Warlow will decide against following Dr Zhivago overseas and stay in Australia doing ... a concert tour! With a brand new CD.
Thus far: Warlow isn't doing Zhivago in the USA! He'll be returning to our shores after going to Broadway with the American cast of Annie - for 15 months. Which means no concert tour this year. *sigh*
Prediction: Warlow will sign up to keep in touch with US on his movements overseas (this is providing the first prediction backfires).
Thus far: No, but he will be doing a "daily" blog on his sparkly new website. Probably weekly, but still.... half true!
Prediction: Warlow will sign up to keep in touch with US on his movements ... on his concert tour.
Thus far: No concert tour, but we should get to hear about him with some regularity. Yay!
Prediction: Warlow will be in Les Mis... if they actually bring it here this year like they were meant to!
Thus far: Not going to happen this year. Annie, Broadway, etc.
Prediction: Someone will ask him to play Phantom again ...
Thus far: Heard nothing, verdict pending.
Prediction: Phantom returns with Ben Lewis in the title role.
Thus far: Heard nothing, verdict pending.
Prediction: Les Mis returns... with Warlow as Thenardier.
Thus far: Heard nothing, verdict pending. Except, Warlow is off for the next 15 months. Probably won't happen with him this year!
Prediction: They will do a live Annie recording as has been previously suggested, and I will be overjoyed.
Thus far: Why, I do believe that came true!
Prediction: Anthony will buy a new suit.
Thus far: Um ... I don't know. Anyone seen anything on this one? I haven't seen that grey suit either time I met him!
Prediction: We will survive this appalling move and life will become so much better that we will manage to see Annie in Melbourne. On multiple occasions. And The Magic Flute with puppets. (Also in Melbourne).
Thus far: I'm still alive, and moved! Saw Annie (twice, thus multiple occasions), but not Magic Flute. Close, though!
Prediction: We will also find fantastic 9-5 jobs
Thus far: Verdict pending.
