Peek-a-boo I bought the box set; then the Meaning of Life 2-disc edition, so I'm pretty much set. And I'll say it again; Terry Jones singing the original version of The Meaning of Life is rather scary.

Of course you now realise you're going to be under constant demand for more.

^ I might acquiesce too, depending on who's asking. (Should not have read that straight after the comment about Anthony wanting the whip.)

Admit it: At the heart of it all, it's really for your own benefits.

Not really. That's what the doll's for.
(It's your fault now if I return him bruised and bloody!)

True. She's claimed ownership of Hyde and Corcoran anyhow. There's lots of healing potential there... *wouldn't climb into bed with Hyde if you paid me*

I'd just want Hyde around to sing It's A Dangerous Game ...
That and so I can have a killing spree buddy.

Yes, Hyde does have his purposes. All my problems would be solved if I had him at my beck and call. *daydreams*
(I feel sorry for Corcoran, caught between those two. Might send Erik to rescue him.)

Corcoran's adorable, but his voice ... There's just something somewhat off-putting about it. The same with The Pirate King. Although I'd take Corcoran over the Pirate King ((because he should've sang it as he did on On the Boards! >)_< ))

Yes, I always thought there was something not-quite-right about his (singing) voice. It doesn't help when he's duetting with the likes of Little Buttercup... You're the singer; you'd have a better idea about why he sounds so odd.
Corcoran's moustache though...

... is kissable. *cough* There's too much baritone in it; I know it's meant to reflect a somewhat cultured age but it's not terribly appealing; all bravado and no romance, I suppose.

Post by unwinding_fantasy on Mar 26, 2008 12:44:10 GMT 9.5
By cultured age you're not referring to the time period are you? In which case, he can't be that old. Buttercup...
Hmm. The mechanics of this play confuse me.

|
Post by Marie-Cris on Mar 26, 2008 15:44:48 GMT 9.5
No, not the time period; his actual age. Showing himself to be a civilised old man of the world through the texture of his voice.
It just feels rather put-on though.

^ Yeah, that's what I thought you meant.
Which brings me back to: how old is Buttercup meant to be? o).O

I'm guessing 2 - 3 decades older ((3 is a bit extreme, so maybe 2 and a half ish?))
