Maybe we should edit a lot of our posts to hide some of the ... well ... 10pm talk. Maybe I could make that a rule. And I could change "Show" to "Over 18" or something like that.

That could work, although there's a fair bit of stuff that's posted innocently that the rest of us manage to twist XD

- His admirable swordsmanship. - For making moustaches look good. - For "You will curse"-ing Hal Prince during his audition. - For auditioning for Playschool and scaring the kids. XD
That's 75 so far...

- His incredible transformation of character - His "playing around" in rehearsals. I would kill to watch an OA rehearsal he's in.

Both he and Philip Quast auditioned; Quast got the part, whilst Warlow got Phantom.

Wait a minute...Ant Auditioned for payschool? Ant scared kids? He didn't mean to. Apparently he came out of the room as white as a sheet, concerned he'd scared them with his crocodile... voice? Or was it a pipe cleaner animal he made? My memory fails me...

Pipe cleaner, I think. Although he could have done a ferocious crocodile voice.
How does one make a pipe cleaner crocodile ...

I'm seriously considering contacting the Princess to see if they ever got this letter; I keep telling myself: Wait one more week, you never know, but the wait is killing me! If they've chucked it I'll send another one and I wouldn't mind sending it all the way up to the Lyric, so long as I get a response.

If only Loz and I could have grabbed him for long enough to ask....
Good luck contacting the Princess, you'll get transferred all over the place on the phone and not get a straight answer- at least, they've done that to me 3 times XD However, it sounds like a smart idea.

Actually I was thinking by e-mail as it'd look a bit sus if my folks found the call to Melbourne on the phone bill ((and I don't think I'd have enough credit at any given time to make such a call on my mobile)).

Both he and Philip Quast auditioned; Quast got the part, whilst Warlow got Phantom. Well, if you re-read the story, he didn't auditioned with Philip Quast. He auditioned with Simon Burke. It was Philip Quast who brought them the audtion news and taught them the crocodile and pipe cleaner spider things, because Philip had already been in Play School at that time. I seem to remember in an old article he mentioned he worked for a while at the children's channel of the local TV of his hometown, before he got into Opera Australia. But, yeah, I think he could indeed do a rather fierce and in-character crocodile to scare the kids. XD

They're a lot nicer via e-mail, so thats a smart move! XD Back on topic.. - The way he whispers lines in Music Of The Night

I'm seriously considering contacting the Princess to see if they ever got this letter; I keep telling myself: Wait one more week, you never know, but the wait is killing me! If they've chucked it I'll send another one and I wouldn't mind sending it all the way up to the Lyric, so long as I get a response. What's the letter about Mars? I sent a letter to The Princess (and RUG and a few other places!!) with my grievance regarding them charging for A Reserve tickets and then providing seats with an obstructed view. I was contacted by a bloke called Jay Lawrence, he contacted me by phone, not email. It took him a couple of weeks though and after the initial contact I had to leave a few messages for him to return my call.
I certainly got the impression that, as a consumer (and an unhappy one!), I wasn't very important to them.
Hope this info helps, good luck with getting a reply!
Cheers MuLo

I actually got a reply yesterday or the day before ((damn memory)) and posted the response in the Jekyll thread; the letter was to Ant and it included a bit of info on the petition, the photos he asked for and a letter with a heck of a lot of apologies. *sweat*

Because the YKYAWW thread is making it look like we're not trying: XD - The howl at the end of Hello Little Girl. - For giving us a good excuse not to eat apples. (Not that I have anything against them, but some might!) - For providing the answer to all life's predicaments: Ant the moment. - For revolutionising chemistry as we know it: C3H8 = sacred. - The Hyde evil chuckle. - The way he adjusts his singing to compensate for/accommodate whoever he's singing with. (Thinking The Main Event and his duets with Olivia.) - For providing inspiration for the comics.
