I remember that feeling well - hated when we were in our roles for the last time - so sad to let them go. Enjoy the last few and also the party! Oh, had to add this. Came home tonight to an envelope with the QPAC (Qld Performing Arts Complex) logo. Turns out I won two tickets to see the movie "Delicacy" for entering a comp that they put on. So stoked - late birthday present! That's the second thing I've won through them - Pygmalion tickets last time for my review of DZ! So I'm going to QPAC to see the Qld Theater Co's production of "Romeo and Juliet" on Friday night , "Annie" on Sunday (Brizzie's final show), Rachel Beck and John Steinlake with the Qld Pop Orchestra on May 19th and now this! Feeling quite blessed really

Happiness is - bidding for a Jersey Boys script on Ebay and winning it for $14.00! Fantastic. I have missed out on several before so was so happy to win this one. It arrived very fast and now I am sitting listening to my JB cd and reading the script (even though I know it off by heart).
For Mothers Day Erin got the three photos of me with JB cast members framed - it is so nice, even though I look like a midget standing next to Glaston Toft who is sooooo tall.

Good on you Inj - well done! That's a keeper for the treasure chest What a weekend! Won two tickets from Aussie Theatre on Thursday night for Queenie Van De Zandt's Friday night cabaret show - fantastic show - poignant songs, great reminiscing and lots to laugh at and managed to speak to her afterwards to only find out we were in musical theatre in Canberra about the same time in the 80s - not together though! Had some good memories of those days all the same! Then this afternoon shared QPAC Concert Hall with Rachael Beck and Ian Stenlake accompanied by the Qld Pops Orchestra for "On Broadway". Loved his rendition of "Lily's Eyes" with Craig Atkinson, one of the original members of The Ten Tenors, and she sang a heartwrenching version of "I Dreamed a Dream". Had a lovely chat afterwards too - a really nice duo, both on stage and in person. Been quite an artsy week - 4 shows in 8 days!

Jemma - you are doing so well winning those tickets. It is so nice to win something. Erin won two tickets to Riverdance final tour, so we are going to that at the end of the month.

My beloved Hurricanes (kinda strange cause I don't have any connection to Wellington, but I've always liked em) just annihilated the Melbourne Rebels 66 - 24. I was hoping they'd get 70 but ah well.
Oliver's over now. The after party was average, probably cause all the kids stayed so no one let their hair down. But we all got dog-tag necklaces with 'Oliver!' and 'MPA 2012' engraved on them. It was really neat. Our next show is Urinetown, and it should be great fun. Though I probably wont do as much for this one cause I'll be in the thick of my year 12 exams.

Poppy Warlow has quite a nice ring to it - but I would have thought you were a tiny bit too old to be his daughter - *just kidding*

Poor Mark! XD
My good news is that I managed to get a UK radio show to play Anthony and Lucy singing On the Edge of Time! Bad news is that they read out my entire email... how embarrassing. Still worth it though!

@ Poppy - I heard that polygamy is legal as soon as you step inside theatres built in the early 20th century. Apparently it's a phenomena emanating from the spirits of the characters portrayed in these dim dark places and once the lights go down any vows already uttered waft slowly out through the splendid doors and down into the sewers lining the empty streets. (Unfortunately, all new relationships are cast aside once your step outside those same doors, back into 21st century Melbourne ... still, even being Mrs Warlow for a couple of hours is more than a lot of people can boast ... but, unfortunately for you, it happens to all Warlovians so a certain person now has several wives for a few hours each night ... however, when this same man with the golden larynx appears in Brisbane, the relationship lasts forever - something to do with the tropics I've heard!! ) JAYKO! Good on you! Knew it'd work You're a real champion and your blood's worth bottling!!! And you deserve the acclaim for putting it out there, so stand proud my friend I think THE man should reward you for having his dulcet tones now serenading the English masses. Well done

Forget the English masses, he can come and serenade me! A girl can dream... ;-)
It was really great to hear it and her reaction. She really enjoyed it! She mentioned that she had the other track (Now) and also the Secret Garden cd tht she can play. Yay! More Anthony! I download it every week so will let you know if she plays his stuff.
Jema, I emailed you the clip to listen to. Did you get it?

@ Jayko - Late getting on here, sorry, but ... I DID!!! So excited and couldn't believe what you said XD Still smiling and felt very honoured xx So lovely to know that the Brits can now drool over him like we do! (Hopefully he'll serenade you one day for your devotion, too - you deserve it!) Alex sounded so excited and a little but chuffed to know that you were listening to them!! Can't believe she read the whole thing out - but you wrote beautifully. Sounds like she got choked up at one point ;-) And I've emailed you back with a lot more thanks. @ Scuffa - he may think so as well!!

My Dad had a hip replacement yesterday, which we were all rather scared about - but it went really well, and he's already walked three times and ... just generally yay! It was a very long day though. Marie-Cris and I got up really early, packed both dogs in the car (our dog Blossom and my parent's dog Button, who we're dogsitting for the duration), set off at first light to drive two hours, then spent the better part of the day distracting Mum so she wasn't a nervous wreck. Byy the time we got home it was almost dark again and we were all really zonked. It was great though. We've all been worried about his op for months and now it's over successfully, so all we have to worry about is making him do his exercises as much as he's supposed to. Also, I made a paneer cheese, and it is really tasty. I've never made any cheese before, so it was rather an adventure. I feel like this post is quite disjointed, but can't work out how to fix it. Sorry all!

^ It was a long day, but good to know that he's okay. Plus we picked up some more honey and ice cream from Beechworth. And ... a Beesting, which is rather nice. And a sign that says something along the lines of "Anthony's Parking. All other vehicles will be towed." AND a lovely elephant doorknocker from Red Ramia in Myrtleford that I've had my eye on for a while.

Thank you all! And it has gone very well... two days later and he's had his drip pulled out already. It was actually interesting - the evening of his op they already had him standing up for a bit, yesterday he was actually walking and sitting in a chair to eat his dinner... I was expecting him to be a cripple for weeks!
