Bit behind the 8 ball with this but I'm glad everything worked out, Fred. It is quite harrowing when people you care about are in hospital. Hope he's getting around okay now. It does sound like he's pretty determined to be up and moving ASAP! My good news (which is nowhere near as important as a successful operation!  ) is that I just scored Beauty School Dropout/My Prayer for $10 off eBay. I believe my Warlow collection is now complete! Well, as far as CDs go anyway. |

Gotta love a long weekend. Spent Saturday with my two beautiful godmothers and then lunch with old friends both today and yesterday. This evening was occupied by watching some old clips of Anthony. Definately gotta love that.  |

So apparently I've been awarded a place on the Dean's Honour List for my Masters course which I completed last year.  It's a wonderfully rewarding feeling to receive such an acknowledgement. It seems that good things tend to occur each time I meet Anthony; this time round I gave him a portrait of Warbucks, and he signed me a copy. Happy times. |

WOW! How good is that. Well done. Jayko suggested I have a look at your drawings ages ago in the VIP section and I was blown away with how perfect they are. You certainly deserve the accolades and the rewards. Bet he loved what you'd done too |

Thanks for your lovely comments! And Anthony was indeed very gracious about receiving the drawings; I think he was particularly thrilled about the Zhivago one I gave him last year, so much so that he mentioned it when I saw him this time. I honestly didn't think he'd remember me either. |

Mary Poppins is coming to New Zealand.
I AM SO EXCITED!
Looks like we're finally getting back some big professional shows from Australia back in the Civic this year, with Jersey Boys and whatnot. There have been some amazing amateur shows in the meantime (Miss Saigon) but I can't wait for the big spectacle of a pro aussie production again. The last one I went to was My Fair Lady back in 09.
