Aye me. Yet another random self-quote to add to my list. The last time I came up with someone like that and said it aloud I was told I was full of it. They're probably right. XD

Chin up Marie-Cris, eyes ahead and focus on the target - finally getting to see Anthony as the Phantom.
I advise don't pack a Mills and Boon. You will never get through PONR otherwise.

That'll be easy; I don't have any.

Got Jane Austen though ...

*shudders* Ugh, when Jane Austen meets Mills and Boon = really bad JE fanfiction in which Mr Darcy is always into S&M, hehe!
Hope everything is ok Mar - like scuffa said, when things get tough or seemingly in the way, just remember what wonders you have to look forward to!

Well after talking to my workcover GP I was quite down... he didn't think my MRI showed anything much that would be causing my neck and arm problems. Then I saw my 'excellent' physio Ian, at lunch time and he said the complete opposite! He thinks the disc problem is definitely causing the tingling/twitching in my left arm and that the shoulder problem is probably causing the pain and weakness in my arm... all directly related to my injury and working conditions. He said he's sure he can help me but the sticking point is always that my rat of a boss will not do any modifications to our office so everytime I go to work it undoes all Ian's improvements! Workcover sent an OT out to check our office and has recommended a few things to help me and all the other staff... coming to a total of $1000 and he hasn't even bothered to read the report! He picked it up and started to read it and then asked what it was, I said it was the OT's report... he folded it up (unread) and shoved it back inside the envelope and walked away. So I guess from that, that he won't be implementing any of her changes in the near future! Now I have to try to get in touch with my 'totally useless' case manager and see what happens next. I leave her message after message and she either never calls me back or is on holidays... she's just had her third holiday since my injury on 30/06/07! Today is not going to be a good day... I already have tingling in my arm and my neck is still painful from yesterdays work... and I have to work form 12.30 to 7.30pm with the rat of a boss... Janne is not happy!

You poor thing Janne! I worked with my chronic pain anaesthetist colleague yesterday and described your MRI report to him as we were doing a list of 15 different procedures for back and neck pain. He said C5/6/7 injuries are very common in women of "our age" but the report sounded to him, without seeing the films, like a facet joint problem which could very well be helped by an injection of local anaesthetic and steroids under X-ray control by a chronic pain specialist. Have you though about asking for a referral to a chronic pain clinic? A chronic pain specialist has had advanced training from the College of Pain Specialists (which is a branch of the Australian College of Anaesthetists) and an accredited pain specialist works with psychologists and physiotherapists as well as other professionals to try and get the optimum outcome for the patient. I guess Hobart is a bit far to come to get my friend Rob to look at you, but I know there are equivalent practioners in your area. After 6 weeks of back pain when I had my injury (a trolley crashed into me at work) I was at my wits end and ready to try anything. It took 3 injections, but 6 years later I am still pain free! It helped me too that my hospital has an extremely good Risk Management department who has won awards for managing return to work and workers comp cases. Guess I'm lucky in that regard.

My eldest son has just dropped to help me find out why my internet has been running so slow. The house full of Uni students over the back fence (we live next to University just about) has been hacking into our wireless network and in one week has used up our monthly download limit of 12 Gigabytes plus another 5 so I was down to dial-up speed!!!!! He found an extra 3 computers logged into our network. Thieving bastard pirates!!!!!!! Network now has added security so they can't try that trick again.
*whip* *whip* *whip* *whip* *whip* *whip* *whip* *whip* *whip* *whip*
What I wouldn' give for Captain Corcoran and his Cat O'Nine Tails. Actually, what I wouldn't give for Captain Corcoran just on his lonesome!!!! Have just had to spend another $30 to top-up for the rest of the month. Unfortunately, no way of proving it's them but can't be anyone else because modem is at back of house and because we live in a double brick house signal is too weak at either side of house or in the street.

You know that the Cat-O-Nine Tails Captain Corcoran used is the very same whip the Pirate King hands over when he's emptying out his pockets? XD

Yes. I noticed that. Now THAT would be a manwich...... Captain on one side, Pirate King on the other.........

I think I'd have a triple manwich, myself. XD Captain Corcoran, Eisenstein and, of course, ERIK.

Crikey, all that and a whip! You naughty kiddies! I want to vent about there never seeming to be enough hours in the day... you know that this is bothering you when you're torn between wanting to sleep in coz you're tired but you don't want to waste the morning by staying in bed... and it's not like i even have anything specific to do! Now i'm just rambling.... Aunty Sandra, on behalf of all Uni students, i apologise profusely for the disgusting behaviour of those buggers!!!

Got this email recently from middle eight music...
"Thank you for your enquiry re Tenor and Baritone.Unfortunately I have bad news for you. Anthony Warlow informed us this week that there is no more stock of the CD and it is most unlikely if he will repress it in the future."

The next time I'm able to get into the city ((it could take a while but I'll no doubt go down eventually)) I'll see if we can swing into Rundle Mall and see if they've still got them in stock. I ordered mine through there, actually, so you never know; perhaps other ABC Shops will be able to rope in one for you.

I'M ANGRY COZ FOR ONCE I DON'T HAVE A RANT! hehe Actually... wait.... I HATE MY SKIN! I HAVE ECZMA AND IT'S ICKY AND AWFUL! Poor neh... you are so my daughter! Both Claire and I suffer from Psoriasis, quite badly. Did you know that IBS and these sort of skin conditions often go together. And on a lighter note... I STILL HATE MY RAT FINK BOSS! I'm going to talk to my other boss and see if they still want me full time and if so I'm gonna quit my first job. He still refuses to fix up the office and now he's being really nasty to me as well... I didn't go to work yesterday... just couldn't be bothered and I hate feeling like that about work. His accountant was upset because one of the other girls has been 'helping' me... even though I've politely asked her not too! And she has mad many mistakes that have caused the accountant lots of extra work, so he told me to ask my boss for 3 to 4 hours per week that I can just spend on the accounts etc. so that the other receptionists won't have to 'help' me. He flew into a rage saying the accountant isn't going to tell him how to run his business and if I can't do the work he'll get someone else who can! ASSHOLE! Funny this is this time last Nov. I almost quit... well actually I did quit and got the other job I now have. Then he called me 5 weeks later and wanted me back... cause they couldn't manage without me! I guess he's forgotten that! ASSHOLE!!!
