Damn it! Those judges are idiots, clearly.

Well it looks like all the judges are biased against Anthony... so surely it's only fair for us to even it up? And I'd argue they're also obviously very hard of hearing. The man sings perfectly, how can anyone beat that? It's impossible.

Theoretically, it'd be impossible to find unbiased judges anyway... at least we're only biased in one direction.

Bonnie, what sort of collectibles do you have? In a word "A lot" - most of my focus is on the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical but have recordings of 6 other musicals based on the original Gaston Leroux novel, every available incarnation on film - 10 - I think without looking, numerous novel versions and novels with similar themes, all the foreign language ALW recordings that have been released - waiting on the portugueses cast recording at present, clothing, musicboxes and snowglobes, christmas ornaments, mugs, dolls, jigsaws, 3 chapel plaques used in the ALW movie, singers score, movie scripts (in my maddness bought a charity auction script of the ALW movie before it was released in cinemas!), first platinum records for OLC in UK and US that are enscripted to ALW, cast sign poster of the first broadway cast I saw in 1999 (the memories this has - my so call aussie accent when I went to get a phantom autograph at the stage door lead me to getting a backstage tour the next night at the Majestic Theatre on broadway - had been told to drop poster off to be signed by entire cast at stage door and collect after the show - but I was invited in and ended up backstage and standing on stage looking up at chandelier, saw the organ, boat, costumes, the wig room and phantom dressing room and being kissed on cheek by the then broadway phantom Hugh Panaro and hear him sing in the shower) and to top it all off a genuine mask that was worn on broadway that is makeup stained and autographed by a particular phantom (and insured). Ahh Bec .......gee this makes me sound old.....but if I'm not mistaken I've been a phan since before you were born, some things I've had for nearly 21 years! And my collecting has really taken off only since coming online in '98 - ebay is deadly to the bank account at times - it makes the impossble possible in aquiring items from overseas.

What, the prepaid cards that you've had for about two days? That is impressive.

Actually, only one of the ones I've had for two days has been emptied. The other one I'm chucking out has 70c on it; the one I bought with the now empty one still has $70 on it, and of course there's the Superman one. Thinking of getting the 2-disc edition of Anastacia; despite the horrible cover art it comes with a whole lot of features, and even Bartok the Magnificent. Then it's just a matter of deciding what else to spend it on before May ... I want that Warlow road sign!

Holy shakeballs Bonnie!!!!!!! *still trying to take in the Hugh Panaro part....* And the shower.... and you have 10 film versions... so that means the rat sex one with the awesomely odd Julian Sands?
As for the theatre awards, i'm going to sound horrible but i hardly think Priscilla even completely adheres to the aspects required for a "theatre" piece. It's just fun spectacle. I'm bloody peeved (not in the least because it's taken me hours to even get here to post this!)

Well the crew member showing me around backstage after having met Hugh told me to wait in the corridor outside his dressing room whilst she went off to the loo and got her handbag before leaving. When I'd met him, he'd just got the makeup and costume off and was stripped down to jocks and aged open Showboat bathrobe - (never thought I'd see a phantom in his underwear!) So there I was listening to him sing in the shower quiet loudly - something operatic I wasn't familiar with - but he did know I was there - I certainly didn't expect him to sing in the shower post show, that was a suprise.
Yes I do have the horrid Julian Sands phantom movie - watched it once and never intend to watch it again.
The three most watched versions would be Lon Chaney original - closest to the original book, Charles Damce version - can't go past the setting of the real opera house althoguh the story is so changed and the ALW musical - although I dislike several aspects of it - ie phantom casting and makeup, masquerade costuming and change in PONR.
Bonnie - 10 days to go

Quick message from Perth....Athony not on last night....Roy, Julie and David as Raoul. Good Perfromance. Big news is there are lot of ensemble cast changes and new understudies. Biggest news is Simon Pryce has left, along with Sarah Baaker. So now only Roy and Alex as Phantom u/s, and a new Christine U/s. Haven't got programme with me, but she is a 2008 WAAPA graduate. Also new Buquet who looks like a ghostly spider found him more scary then the Phantom in the begining! New Raoul and Carlotta u/s as well. Hope some of them will be on for the few previews. Slowest descending chandelier I've seen is here .....must be WA regs. Stage looks bigger in width action seems centre more in the middle.
Coming from Perth train station give yourself 20 min for train and walk to theatre.
Will post again in few days if can get to internet cafe.
Bonnie - burnt to a crisp from being on Rotternest Island today

It's settled. The show has finally caved under it's own mystical majesty and has become haunted.

Well it has been running for nearly two years.... *realisation hits* This is the longest I've stuck with anything! Anyhow, what with how long its been going, the fact that Auckland closed early plus they got a long break. It's common for cast members to finish a break and realise they don't want to go back, or have been other offers. We will miss them though.
And I pity the new cast members in Perth who haven't encountered us before....

Gah, and I never got to see Simon's Phantom *tear*
I'm also curious as to who the new Christine u/s is! 2008 graduate, she must be fairly young too!
ETA: I must add how jealous I am of all those going to Perth! Talk about withdrawals -_-
