"...Perth's Alexander Lewis cast at Raoul."
Honestly. What's up with these Perth media people?

Yep yep, that's Marlow. Mr Marlow, how wrong we've been! Good links! Wow, how could that reporter get that so wrong ! It's written on the big sign, right behind his head! Has Mr Warlow been renamed before? Ask the two Irish women at the airport ...

Let's see... so far the Perth media have managed to get 3 of the names wrong:
Anthony Marlow Ana Marie Andrew Lewis
What is wrong with these people?!

Apparently it was written by Andrew Lloyd WEBER as well.
(I heard him say Warlow. Maybe I need new speakers)

I did notice when I downloaded Centre Stage onto my MP3 player, his name comes up as A Warlowe - so not even his own record company could get it right, no wonder he started his own ;D My On The Boards CD has "Antony Warlow" on it... And Perth media, please. I mean, even just double check the names with a program!

They changed it! It most definitely said "Marlow" at first though.

Just before the reporter mentioned 'Ana Marie', I'm pretty sure she said something sounding like 'Christine Day'
Oh, and in the other article, I was wondering if any of you knew anything about why this is the case:
"a timeless story which was particularly popular with young women this time around and others no matter how many times they had enjoyed it."
And unless this is some strange form of Australian lingo that I'm unfamiliar with...isnt it meant to be a Boat?:
"The Phantom takes Christine into his lair on a gondola floating in misty water. "

No, it's a gondola, like they have in Venice. That's why the Phantom poles (or punts) the boat rather than sitting there with a pair of oars. @ cast: Break a leg tonight!

Oars would be in an interesting touch- oh, and Unwinding? You can gondola on the Yarra, are you up for it?
Toi toi toi to the cast tonight!

Thanks for backing me up, Belle. Jess isn't the most reliable of allies when it comes to this sort of thing.

Am so jealous of you all in Perth.. sigh.. On a totally different note, I thought Phantom fans might find this interesting. In a book on Andrew Lloyd Webber, his biographer went under the Paris Opera House and discovered that Gaston Leroux's description of it as Erik's/Phantom's home (in his book The Phantom of the Opera) was very precisely detailed - apparently you can follow his directions down to the lake, it's that exact! Anyway, in the book Leroux states workmen found a body (supposedly Erik/Phantom, buried there by Christine in the original story) and a secret locked room. A plaque on the door said no-one could open it until 2007. The inference from Leroux was that it was something to do with Erik/Phantom. I forgot all about this until going through that book today and wondered "What was in the room?!?!?" Here's the link, if you'd like to know what they found.

I wonder how long it will take to make the distribution?

Oh my goodness ... I wonder how long it will take to make the distribution? Well, a bit more digging (very frustrating, my French is pretty shonky) has found that the urns had to be processed in a special hazardous-materials facility due to the asbestos solution around them (which apparently takes a while), then EMI will go through them and release the recordings as a compilation. However, a check of the EMI website finds no updates since that story, so I guess they're still working on it.

Yeah, I read the article. I'm just hoping that when it's released it won't take a millennium to be released in Adelaide.

News from afar, people: Roy was absolutely stunning at today's matinee (I won't use jayko's exact phrasing; it might offend some people!) and we have the A-team on again tonight. I'm sure they're doing perfectly, as usual.

Yes, you can. Lots of fangirling masked by skillful language. It's so something I'd write. I actually didn't mind this particular Perth reporter though the adjective "shimmeringly" made me raise an eyebrow.
