I hope someone can answer this coz I'd really love to know too....although I hope it wasn't Ana, coz I'll probably cry if it was. I wanted to go to that but didn't, so it would make it even worse if she had in fact been there -_-

Ana was on Sunday so if she was overseas Saturday, wow, top effort.

As most of you know, Phantom of the Opera will be travelling to Taipei after Adelaide. They have now made the official announcements and the tickets are on sale. Brad Little will be playing the role of Phantom and I am very happy to announce that our very own Ana Marina will be playing Christine. Quite a few of the ensemble members will be involved in the show too which is great! Official site for the season hereTickets can be purchased hereYou can translate the first site (top right hand corner), but I can't seem to find the option on the second one.

Hmmmm - I can open it, get to the English part, read all about the show, creative people etc but the cast section just won't open.

I can't get into it either, don't worry! I only know about Brad and Ana being in the cast but I have no idea who is playing Raoul yet. Have to do some more research

This is terribly out of context, but I found the following sentence in a book today -
I'd be willing to bet that the view he was talking about wasn't the one that popped into my head....

^ Hehehe no, probably not That's a nice little one-liner though! Question: anyone have any idea how long Phantom will tour Asia? David RS's site makes it sound like Taipei is it, which seems a little...weird. I'm just, well...curious...since I may have the freedom to go wherever the hell I like to train in a little while (I'm terrible, eh). Oooh, and Nik, I noticed you mentioned seeing Anna O'Byrne's debut recently (I have a bad habit of lurking) on Roy's site - would love to hear your thoughts on her performance some time since I most likely won't get the chance to see her in action!

OK, I had no idea where to put this random snippet of info, so I decided this thread can have an update.
This month's issue of Dance Australia announced that Phoebe is one of 12 Australian Ballet dancers chosen to compete in the Youth America Grand Prix. That is one hell of a big deal in the ballet world.

Congrats to Phoebe!! I'm kind of a ballet fan too, though it's purely amtuer interest. Hope I'll be able to see her as a ballet star in the future. EDIT: So I did a little bit of search online and found a website about it -- Click here-- and an article that mentioned Phoebe with the young star of Billy Elliot the musical. Click hereBTW, I can't help mentioning that the broadway production of Billy Elliot has two of the winners of 2006 Youth America Grand Prix. One is Kiril Kulish, whom I saw last year as Billy and whom I liked a lot.

Yeah, the main goal of the Grand Prix is to bridge the gap between young competitors and the professional dance world. Hence why you see so many familiar names on their winners list, much like the Prix de Lausanne, which produces some of the world's most incredible classical dancers.
I wish I had half as much talent!

Full Time = Ramin U/S = Dunno, but in the US National Tour I believe they had a 23 yr old play it for 2 performances while Gary was off.

Congrats to Phoebe!! Looks like another Warlow star is on the rise.... All the best for the Grand Prix. It must run in the family . My Nana found out that my mum's step-sisters mother-in-law used to live next door to Mr Warlow's Aunt ;D (trust my Nan to find that out)

My brother did the Phantom in year 8, he was Raoul but it was a remake sort of, it was like what happened after Raoul got Christine..... I know doesn't count .... but still
