But Mar aren't you technically in the middle? So you sort of even out both sides! Don Spencer was from your neck of the woods, and he rocked my socks as a kid.... *nostalgia wave hits.... "Please don't call me a koala bear..."* And how's your head dearest, coz that looked like quite the spaz-thudding attack up there!

It rather hurts. I haven't stopped squealing since last night; I think I scared the dog.

Oh dear - we know when we scare the animals that something's wrong.... i mean, take my singing for example: my cat Olly leaves the room EVERY time i sing, every single time without fail. I think he might be trying to tell me something.... This is also not OT but i recall Ant in his Margaret Throsby interview i think, talking of how he used to turn the vaccum cleaner on as a means by which to sing loudly while it ran - i do that all the time! Albeit i am also a neat freak and vaccum the kitchen and bathrooms each day but i always use the noise as an outlet for singing as loud and long as i please - the shower aswell of course, but it felt great to know that even Ant did this random act as a youngin!

I finally got to listen to this... God that man is funny! I laughed all the way through, how does he get those impersonations so spot on? He not only gets the voice correct he gets the speech mannerisms perfect! He constantly amazes me.

Now windbelle, look what's happened; your little bow icon is going to be used to death. And rightly so. I tend to do my singing when no one's in the house, or late at night with both my door and the door to the hallway shut; not that it helps much because the walls are thin and we have a very compact house. Okay, I might as well say this now: I'M GOING TO MELBOURNE!! WOO!! Taking my mother and sister along for the ride ((I can't be my Warlovian self! Ack!)) but at least I'm going. To see. Anthony. Warlow. *got to stop doing that*We haven't got an exact date yet but because of L.A.'s uni and mum's work we're considering getting a pack for December, so right now I'm hunting down anything that can get us there and back as cheap as possible; 3 people for 3 days ((mum wants to see the market - oh help!)). By the looks of some Quantas flight price listings I could get a ticket for about $116 for one person at the least; of course conditions apply. So yeah. Thought I'd come out with it since it appears that we are going after all. I just need to make sure I don't need to be here in December, particularly early in December, but I might have a slight problem because of Carols by Candlelight and Nine Lessons and Carols, especially since I've found out that the soprano line "depends" on me to guide them through. I'm only 20!! Christ!!

Now don't take this too hard, Marie-Chris, but just two days ago you could've booked Adelaide to Melbourne for only $89 one way, for flights between November and mid December! However from experience I've found these special deals occur frequently, so if you register with Qantas for email alerts - qantas.qantas.net.au/redemail/index.asp - it will save you having to check constantly. Of course, you may already know about this service but I thought I'd mention it anyway.

Why am I always a bit late for these things? Thank you for the link Jupiter; I can't book anything quite yet, I still haven't got a clue when exactly we're going as I need to discuss dates with my vocal teacher.

Panic, disaster ... as Cpt. Corcoran once said: "OH, HORROR!" Tonight I get a message from my friend Caitlin ((whom I love to iddy biddy bits)) saying that she and her folks are taking me to Melbourne on the 20th of November to see Phantom, and all I have to do is pay for my bus trip to the city and my ticket to the show! ^ I have a damn good reason for that!! I would love love LOVE to go with Caitlin and her folks - yay for the Warlovian self! - but mum and LA will kill me if I don't take them to see the show. So now there's a suggestion of somehow going all together; only it would mean 6 people squeezing into a five-seat car, as we'll be driving to Ballerat and then taking the train to Melbourne ((her father is a train driver, he often drives the Ghan, so he's good with train tickets)); provided that we can all go. I can't call L.A. tonight because she's working, so I'm going to have to try and get a hold of her tomorrow and let her know about it all and HOPE that she's available on the 20th; I would've thought uni would have ended at least by then, I suspect it ends on the 18th but I know sometimes students have to keep coming back and forth on occasional days. If she's unavailable she's going to be real pissed if I take mum and leave her behind, and if I don't get to Melbourne I'm going to be REALLY pissed out of everyone!! *breathes* I probably should have put that in the Hyde thread *suddenly warps into a gigglefit* but it's concerning Phantom. Don't worry folks, I'll try and get things sorted. Hopefully. Somehow. Tomorrow. ... I just wish being an admin of a little-known fan site would get me a link to somehow getting discounts or, better yet, means of meeting everyone after the show!! Ah, tis a dream. One I will never let go of.

And nor should you! In a fair world (or one just run by Neh), that's exactly how it would be; true, hard-working fans would get to see and meet their heroes darn it! And Mar you SHALL go to Phantom - it's all in the power of the threat.... just tell everyone involved that you will never speak to them again should they let you down, and if that fails, hint that you have been contemplating attempts at homicide and you need some practice victims! Easy peasy! And as said in the Introducing thread, Neh (coz i'm really into referring to myself in the 3rd person today) promises to do some naughty stuff when at Phantom so you can all hear it! (and see people, hopefully - coz i'm haunting that stage door with my camera til SOMEONE emerges!)

Got an update on my Phantom situation. Yes, I'm going to Melbourne, yes, I'm going to see Anthony Warlow. TWICE!
AH HA HA! AH HA HA! AH HA -fk. So here's the deal ((once Caitlin gets home from work so I can call her!)): I go with the Ripleys ((yes, that's their name)) on the 20th of November via car and train and home again ((dammit I'm rhyming!)), and then some time in December ((still haven't worked out my schedule yet)) I'll take mum and LA to Melbourne by plane and spend about 4 days there with them ((they want to roam)). Family time, you see. Only dad won't be coming, so it's partial family. This is going to kill my bank account. I will bring my video camera, not to record the show ((as if I'd be dumb enough to try that with the type of camera I've got!)) but just in case I happen to see *anyone* before/after the show. *PRAYS LIKE MAD*

I'm just catching up on all the news (freakin internet has been out for a couple of days - and I only had a second at work on Fri. to sneak a peak - and I almost got caught by the boss ). My first thought as I read through these latest posts... WHY DOESN'T SHE JUST GO TWICE!!! Then I keep reading and YES! Sooooo let me just add... MAR IS GOING TWICE!!! When Phantom comes to Sydney next year I have a least 3 different groups I can go to shows with, so I have to start saving as soon as Bridezilla's wedding is over, next year is gonna cost me a small fortune... but it will be worth it! ;D

Mwua ha ha.
Although if I wasn't able to go twice, the reason would be cost.
OMG I thought of a dumb slogan: WIWI.
Warlow Is Worth It.

I forget to tell you girls, I was talking to my Nephew last night, who is a wonderfull musician (he's now my Nephew casue he married my Niece a few months back, see pics below), and when I mentioned that we will be seeing Phantom in 4 weeks he say's to me 'Oh Anthony's a lovely bloke... so down to earth!' I'm standing there mouth gaping at him and he laughs and adds. 'I worked with him years ago when he was just coming back after the cancer... when he did the back in the swing tour!' After I recovered my whits (which a minute to two!) he said that he had played in a few of his shows for the tour even though he was only in his late teens. I asked what Ant was like to work with and he said he was great they had lots of fun in rehearsals, but that the minute the show starts Warlow changes into the consummate entertainer, very serious about his music! Tom then tells me he's also done some stuff with David Hobson as well! Bloody Hell! Why didn't the boy tell me all this before?
