Oh unwinding if you haven't seen Hugh in Swordfish with Halle Berry and John Travolta, run - I say RUN!!! to the nearest shop and either rent or buy it ASAP... you will not be sorry! *toast* You will be rewarded for all your running by seeing an almost naked Hugh... he's only wearing a towel around his waist and OH MY... what a body that man has! Sorry have to go find that DVD now and watch it again! XD

Yes, Hugh Jackman was Gaston in B&B, and I have the program to prove it! Just didn't have the $$$ to see the show at the time, high school and all . . . .
That was also around the time when I met him, a friend and I were doing door-to-door stuff for World Vision child sponsorship in Albert Park, and met him and his then-fiance Deborah-Lee Furness, who actually recommeded the National Theatre in St Kilda for acting as an alternative to VCA (too expensive!) And yes, at the time, I knew exactly where he lived, and still know to this day!
And I also saw him in Sunset Blvd, very good show, but didn't like seeing what happened to his poor character at the end![/color]

That's the confusion of it all; I thought he was just Gaston, but even in televised interviews I've seen of him he's said he played Beast. *shrug*
Proboards links are blocked from wikipedia; I've added the link multiple times and it's immediately removed. They don't want any forum links at all.

^ Well hopefully when the website gets going it can be linked at Wikipedia, and (I assume) can then lead people here!

Providing whatever server phantasy chooses isn't one that's blocked from Wiki. Wish I could give her a hand with it but I have no idea what's going on.

"I didn't think Anthony had to sing all that much given the overall length of the show"
Oh dear, what a very stupid thing to write! I am half laughing and half mad! I wonder what sort of person can not plainly see that the Phantom is one of the most challenging roles that a tenor/baritone can perform in musical theatre. It may be true that the Phantom does not sing for the whole 2 and a half hours but what leading role does? Without exhausting himself physically and emotionally, Anthonys performances of the Phantom would not be so highly regarded worldwide...ok rant over
