With Cat-Like Tread (just come back from Word Association)
(And no, not hiding anything, but that song just played over and over in my head as I was walking to Rod Laver Arena - And Oh, the towering feeling, just to know somehow you are near, the overpowering feeling, that any second you may suddenly appear!!!! - I'm sure there's something in that for all of us!!!)

So is it just me, or does "lovely girls, all pure perfection, they'll be at the ball tonight" always sound like "they'll be at the bar tonight" If Ant walked into a bar where I was I'd probably snort my drink everywhere in shock....XD Tenor & Baritone- try singing it while surfing. It's strange.....

Anthem.
There's an interesting story behind this one. I was the only person at work today so I could fiddle with the radio, plugging in my iPod instead. Don't worry, I resisted the temptation that is Jekyll & Hyde but being Australia Day weekend, a patriotic vibe was in the air. Anthem was fitting. Sundays are unbearably quiet so I was singing to the empty store when of a sudden this random customer springs in the doorway and starts singing with me!
Strange to the point of ---> *giggletantrum*

Nope. Just wanted to be all "I am Australian." He was carrying a flag, too.
(His train of thought probably went a little like this: "Maybe if I join in I'll be able to drown out her atrocious singing." XD)

The jukebox in my head has changed discs, its now giving "Find Your Grail" a spin....
And Unwinding, I was walking around with about 5 little Aussie flags on sticks, carrying them on behalf of the family- the Colac Otway council were giving them away, as well as painting flags on everyone- I had one across the back of my shoulders, until I jumped in the ocean anyway!

He DOES ... damn I love B&B. I actually haven't listened to mine in ages ... Possibly due to Hugh Jackman singing "We'll be the perfect pair, just like my thighs!"
And now I have the Maison de Loon in my head.

The aspect of a song being stuck in your head (or "Ear Worm" as the German's call it) for me is that it is never the whole song, just one line - over and over and over again!!
We have just finished a sell-out season of Cats so at the moment I am tormented by:
"Jellicles can and Jellicles do, Jellicles do and Jellicles can...!" Over and over, not the whole song, just that one cursed line. *thud*
Alternatively, it's "My visits are occasional to the senior educational, and it is against the ruuuules...!" (Be sure to roll your "Rs"!!!)
In an effort to rid myself of the Cats curse I put "Centre Stage" in the CD player during the week, on continuous repeat, for several hours. I am pleased to report that Jellicles is gradually being replaced by "You're Nothing Without Me!!" There are worse things in life!
Cheers All MuLo
