^ Yeah, I dropped a brick on my friends back. She was fine, and pushed me down a flight of stairs a week later- I sprained both wrists and wrenched an ankle, so she won XD (That was in grade 3, mind you!)
> I think almost falling backwards over the mini wall in front of Ant was pretty stupid Loz, although I can't talk as I ran into his car and would have set off the alarm had he not already unlocked it. That could have been awkward!
V Ever had a teacher whose class you never wanted to leave?

^ Two of them; Mr. Vanlowe, my Woodwork teacher in Years' 8 and 9 ((sadly not in year' 10 and he left in year' 11!)), who Ant looks a bit like in a couple of the newspaper scans for Man of La Mancha ((particularly the one where he has a gloved hand raised)); and Miss Sykes, whose Year' 12 English class was really easy and relaxed for me ((plus I was with two friends, plus we had all - this including Miss Sykes - could have a laugh at my twit of a nemesis that I've code-named "Portia" [her real name starts with a P and ... I can't stand the name Portia])), and whose Year' 12 Drama class had its moments of fun; mostly when I was the only one in the room.
> I've got a feeling that when I wake up tomorrow I'm going to start feeling the effects of today's Shotokan class.
v Ever ran in your school's Cross Country?

^ No, and with my knees I never intend to!
> You sound like you got a pretty good run of teachers there Mars, wish I was that lucky! Oh, and your comment about Mr Vanlowe gives me a question, yay!

Post by killerbananas on Feb 3, 2008 16:22:08 GMT 9.5
^ Um, my uncle, my cousin, the one in my psych class, I think there's one in our year level, 2 at work plus the creepy one, who I refuse to call Anthony- he's a disgrace to the name! So that makes 7, not counting relatives with it as a middle name!
> I must get a photo of Mr Arnold for all you guys- the resemblence is scary!
V Do you know what St Anthony was the patron saint of?

> Gah, it's sunday, which means school and ortho tomorrow....Oh rapture, oh bliss XD
V Have any recurring injuries?
|
|
|
Post by Marie-Cris on Feb 3, 2008 20:45:51 GMT 9.5
^ I'm not sure about these days, but when I was a toddler breaking my arm was a reoccurring injury; four times before I was even four.
> My MySpace layout is driving me nuts. I don't mean the US layout, I mean MINE. I decided to try and change it as the white text gets hard to read over the Queen of the Night flower on the left side, but because I like that picture I have to figure out a colour that'll look good both over black and white, and the current colour I'm looking at ((FF0066)) looks like a reddy pink ... everything leads back to pink!! GAHHHHHH!
V MySpace ever give you this much trouble when deciding your layout?
|
|
|
Post by killerbananas on Feb 3, 2008 20:51:15 GMT 9.5
^ No, I have a tendancy to go from one extreme to the next, layout wise. I'm quite happy with my current one though...
> Wish Nadia would comment me back. Any comments would be welcome, actually!
V Whats your myspace layout look like?
|
|
|
Post by Marie-Cris on Feb 3, 2008 21:24:46 GMT 9.5
^ Same as it was before, only the main text is 11px instead of 10x and it's all ... reddy pink. *thud* I'm so glad Warlow will never be able to look at it ... and hear the songs recorded in flat and sharp tones.
> I got up this morning and fell out of bed; yesterday's Shotokan workout kicked in and I'm still feeling the pain. I can't massage my whole legs A) Because they're sore and B) I'll feel like I'm doing PONR.

V Worst hospital experience?
|
|
|
Post by Marie-Cris on Feb 4, 2008 20:24:27 GMT 9.5
^ I'm not sure. I only vaguely remember the hospital when I kept breaking my arm as a toddler ((I remember a big, grey, cement room. And freckles [as in the chocolate])). I suppose the worst was when my dad took me in to see a doctor when I had a horrendous ear infection, only to be turned away and told there was nothing to do but to sit and wait for the pain to pass.
> I lost a lot of my depression weight because of that damn infection; I was a 16 / 18 before that infection and I dropped down to a 8 - 10. A chunky 8 - 10, but I'm fine with it; I have hips, so what?
V Ever had a drastic weight loss / gain?

^ Nope, although I always lose a kilo or two in summer, which returns with a vengence come winter...

> I just got my car back from the panel beaters, and the stereo doesn't work!!!!!!! I have a 12 stacker CD player with 5 Ant CDs in it, an hour to and from work every day and IT'S NOT BLOODY WORKING!!!

^ Yes, we once owned pizza franchises. (But you answered my question with a question, that's hardly fair!!!)
> I had a much longer answer here but it was fueled with profanities directed towards a corrupt international corporation, my seething anger simmering just below the surface, ready to erupt at the slightest provocation of the bastards.
V So, I'll ask my question again. Does anyone want to do my night shift for me tonight? It's only 10 hours, then you can have 3 days off.

^ Can I have the money if I do?
> I have a Daewoo; and I'm aware of the fact that I can't spell it; I had to look it up. It's dark blue which is a real bitch as the dirt from the road always flies onto it whenever someone drives by ((which is often, and sometimes we get trucks >_<)), and due to the drought I'm not allowed to wash it! >_< Plus the air-conditioning doesn't work. I had to order some parts from Sydney or Melbourne, then they got lost ((the company claimed the order had never been made *swear* )), so they had to be reordered; by the time I get my air-con fixed, Summer will be long gone ((and it's already getting colder these days)).
Sorry for the rant.
v What is the one TV show you cannot stand to watch? ((I don't know if I've asked this before))

^ Personal Assistant to Anthony Warlow - Only I couldn't possibly live in Sydney or Melbourne!!
> I have just had 5 weeks off work (to allow time to do "Cats") and in that time was happy, relaxed and enjoying life. As soon as I started back at work the sleepless nights returned, the teeth grinding returned, the permanent frown returned, the constant whingeing returned. Did you know that I have been called an "Fn white C" so many times that the term is losing its offensiveness?!?!?!? I need a holiday!!!
V Who is Australia's most annoying TV Personality?

^ On a show, either the Deal or No Deal guy or the Ready Steady Cook guy. On an ad, the Radio Rentals guy. *shudder*
> I just got this PM from a friend on another site; I've actually thought about this fact quite a bit over a matter of ... years' ... but he's the first one to ever mention it to me:
"WAIT-WAIT-WAIT-WAIT-WAIT...wait... ... Wait... ... Wait.
I just realized...
Your name is Maria... ... And you just happen to be infatuated with someone named AnThony... ... And you both sing... ... This caused me to make a facial expression of surprise and astonishment the likes of which I have never made before. It would be like if you mixed icon_surprised.gif, icon_neutral.gif, icon_confused.gif, icon_eek.gif, icon_gonk.gif, and burning_eyes.gif together, threw in a dash of icon_ninja.gif and OMFGWTFBBQ, and then amplified it by a power of OVER 9000.
The links are all there... ... And I think they have just caused my brain to implode."
