^ Yep, my copy's rather ratty looking now, as is Kaye's "Phantom", Forsyth's "The Phantom of Manhatten" and I'm adding another two Phantom novels to my collection come Christmas.
> One of which is the "erotic" version. It'll be totally wankable.

^ No, but I'm hoping to get The Little Mermaid: A New Beginning at Big W when I go to Renmark this Thursday ((Woollies isn't selling it, the bastards!))
> Crap; I just realised I have to choose what coloured DS I should get. Why isn't there a purple one?!

^ I've had a great day, got lots done at work. Although, I'm a little tired - that'll teach me to stay up until 2:30 reading addictive fanfic. Actually, no, it probably won't.
> I've been trying to buy christmas presents today, and it's too hard. I've already gotten things for the easy people in the family, now I can't work out what to get the rest. I did find a lot of things I would like. My mother keeps telling me that I'm hard to buy presents for, and I don't get it. I like everything...
V Have you done all your christmas shopping?

^ Twilight. I refuse to watch the noble vampire be butchered by an untalented fangirl who squished Louis and Lestat together to get Edward. Ugh. > Mar, get a black one. I have a black one. Black ones RULE. Then you can stick a white mask on the front, for instance... (innocent smile) OH! Package from Amazon! Hurrah, I have Club Dead by Charlaine Harris now! Woo! Heck, this wasn't suppose to arrive until January... V Waiting on something to arrive in the post?

^ not really although i know i've got a letter from centerlink coming > Haha i know what you mean about twilight, even though i like it the pure fangirly-ness of it can be quite annoying, for instance when i saw it there was a girl in front of me who would bounce in her seat and giggle at edward V ever had someone really annoying near you at a movie?

^Ages ago I was watching National Treasure Book of Secrets, and some parents had brought like 3 under 5yr ols with them. And they pretty much ran and talked through the whole thing. The parents didnt even care. That, and when I'm at the movies with my dad, and he knows a little bit about every damn cast member, and thinks the best time to share it is during the movie. > I have a black ds, and now I am so sticking a mask on it! ^ Bella, although she's really mum's, and Charlie, though he's really L.A.'s but since she's living in a hotel she can't have him with her at the moment so we're stuck with the bastard. > I got a blue one. >)_< Mum wanted to pick between blue and red, so that's what I got. Got the accessories pack with it too though ... and both Pokemon games. I like blue anyway ... V Feel like something meaty? ((I'm hungry, can you tell?))

>I do know that I only work 8 days between now and Christmas, which means only 8 more days of those excruciating carols at work. Huzzah!
I'm the only one at the shop who has to listen to them all day - the stereo is right behind me, and everyone else gets to have the sound drowned out by traffic noise and customers. V Do you like Christmas carols?

>@marie-cris: its a cartrige where you can store and play ds 'roms' a.k.a games, downloaded from the internet. saves you going out and buying games. dont worry, its legal.
V Last time a christmas carol drove you crazy?

^ Last year' when the radio presented kept playing the start of a Christmas tune but never played the whole thing through ... ALL DAY.
I can't actually remember what the carol was, now that I think about it.
> I don't have a wireless router for the DS so I doubt I'll be able to do that. There's a router for the computer but I don't think I'd be able to connect that AND the DS at the same time ((don't think I've got a cable that'll connect it anyway [can you tell I know nothing about technology?])).
V Have you seen / Do you want to see The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning? ((Yes I got it. FINALLY.))

^ Is that a new one or is it the original movie re-packaged? I love the original one (saw it at the movies when I was about 5 and an 8 metre tall Ursula scared the crap out of me )! > Trying to get motivated to clean the house and go shopping. Hate it. There are certainly some very good points to remain living at home for as long as you can! V What's your favourite activity to do to relax?

^ Used to be reading. Then it became movie watching. Then it became maintaining this site.
Then I pulled off The Purple Project and discovered the cast lurked here, so now it's become playing my DS.
((Although the bastard cheats!))
> No, it's the third one. The 2nd one I watched in installments on YouTube; it was so bad I started bitching about it in the shoutbox and several others watched it too. But this one is actually not that bad; the ending was a bit "aww, sap", but it was still okay for a sequel.
Prequel, really.

^ I have Haigh's next to me.
> Back a bit on the carols- I took part in a register operator strike against carols. They make both us and the customers irritated. So now we get two hours of "normal" music then an hour of carols. A system that works!
V Are you feeling tired at the moment?

Post by Fredus on Dec 16, 2008 19:44:55 GMT 9.5
^ Yes. I always feel tired lately. I think I need to start running again. That used to wake me up.
> The family's plans for Christmas just became chaos. We were all going to my brother's place in Queanbeyan, and my parents were driving up in their motorhome. They and I (bad grammer, I know) were going to stay with my brother, while Sister and her family slept in the motorhome. We all had food we had to supply (my job was to make black forest cheescake. Yum), and all was well.
Now my Dad has had a bleed into his knee, and doesn't feel he can drive the motorhome for six hours. Mum still can't drive a manual after a shoulder operation she had, so they'll probably stay in VIC for Christmas. Which makes sense, but now Sister can't afford accomodation. Argh! Although, now there is discussion about tents.
All very complicated... and this was a bit of a rant, and probably in the wrong place, but I didn't realise I was going to rant, until I was. As it were.
V Have you got all your Christmas plans sorted out?

^When me and one of my friends get together, nothing stops us from laughing. Even if we've both had a real off day, we will still be able to make a joke about it and collapes in fits of laughter on the floor.
> Anyone been wearing a Phantom in Whitcoulls Manukau city lately? (as in yesterday afternoon) Because I saw this person wearing one there after school yester day. Felt like saying 'loving the t-shirt' to her, but I was in a queue..
