^ So many, many things... I think I should start by actually FINISHING chapter eleven of Hyde In Paris. Ugh. Such an effort when I can sit here and play KH: CoM... *le sigh*
> Aaaah... kiwiphanatic, you've discovered the joy of acekards and "acquiring" games. ^_^ I like to buy mine, just so I can get the nifty little insert. There is NOTHING wrong with owning too many Pokemon games. I LOVE Mystery Dungeon Blue and Explorers of Time. I've even got the Wii Battle Colosseum. Gotta love my Dialga - Temporia - 's Roar of Time. Hoo boy!
V Do you have a favourite fictional character outside of Phantom?

^ I have a tend to be drawn toward Pokemon now you mention it, with blastoise as one of my faves (leafgreen was my first game). Oh and Max from Where the Wild Things Are! He's awesome.
> I remember when me and my cousin spent pretty much all of 2 days completeing Mystery Dungeon, and on Pokemon Diamond, my time recorded at the Hall of Fame was like 24hrs something.
V What sre your views on pokemon?

^ A fantastic part of my childhood memories- I was in the key demographic when Pokemon hit its peak. It was awesome.
> I now play it for the nostalgia.

^ That depends what you mean by 'dancing'. I know a few steps, that we learnt for the grad dance and stuff like that.
>And I had to do the last waltz with Jarvis......
V Heard of the Laughing Samoans?

^ Sadly, I have not.
> Leafgreen... you jest! I think kb and I were around for Blue, Red and Yellow... when Blastoise was actually new! (always, ALWAYS picked Squirtle. I love water-types.)
V Speaking of Pokemon, do you remember the Ten Year Celebration in conjunction with Pokemon 2000?

^ I remember hearing of it. I was only 10 though!
> I was a fire girl, always. Ah! The Secret Garden movie's on- where I photoshop in Ant, pretend Quast is just out of frame and sing the songs in the appropriate spots. Fun is to be had.
V Do you make instantly comparisons between something Ant's done to a version without Ant? (like any J&H, any Phantom, etc)

^ Yes, I do it alot with Phantom. Always finding reasons why just coz' Crawfoed was first, dosent mean he's best.
> I've played pokemon crystal on an emulator a few times. But then I think it messed up so I had to get rid of it. I might go buy a cheap gameboy colour and get the GBC generation of Pokemon.
V Does it annoy you when people cant seem to see past Michael Crawford? Not necessairly finding a new favourite, but just not being willing to open their minds to anything else.

^ It doesn't annoy me as such. Its more annoying when people can't see the bad in certain Phantoms *coughCOLMcough*
> I have a Gameboy colour with three Pokemon games- including Pokemon pinball. It rules.
V Do you have an original black and white Gameboy?

> But I get LPS related presents! YAY!
V Counting down until your next Phantom fix?

|
Post by Marie-Cris on Dec 20, 2008 22:40:45 GMT 9.5
^ Not yet; I don't want to start counting until it's actually 2009.
> My first game system was a Gameboy Colour; just as they had stopped making them and started with Gameboy Advance. I still play Pokémon Crystal and I wish I could transfer my pokémon over to Diamond ... I never had an original gameboy but I did play one, and I have watched people playing the original games, even the Yellow one.
I actually hate not knowing what's gone on in the episodes since I last watched them; and I think I've only seen the first movie when it hit cinemas.
((On another note, I feel like going out too but I think my friend is asleep, so I'm stuck here. I could really use some company right now.))
V What are you doing to pass the time these holidays?

^ Well, I just got back from going out. I'm rather beyong tipsy and into pretty drunk #XD#
> Mar, I would go clubbing with you, but that requires one heck of a taxi trip. I was behind these girls in the taxi queue who were heading to Gordon- that would cost them like $50, and they were leaving just before curfew- WHY?!

^ No, although some of the neighbouring suburbs could do with one. > Going on holiday today. Leaving in an hour. Still haven packed.
V Do you leave packing until the last minute?
|
|
|
Post by killerbananas on Dec 21, 2008 11:29:25 GMT 9.5
^ No, I always pack in advance.
> I just woke up, and no hangover! Yay! Although I did remember I met one of Jac's (the birthday girl) friends, whose name was....Colm. It was an effort not to die of laughter.
V Do you make friends easily?
|

|
Post by Marie-Cris on Dec 21, 2008 14:34:44 GMT 9.5
^ No.
> I'm not a clubbing girl; if I was I'd go to the club every Friday and Saturday night providing I wasn't working. Some nights I just feel like going out somewhere; find a hill somewhere, lie down and just look at the stars. I've done it before in the backyard ((mainly when we have late-night visitors)) but the pavement hurts my butt ... thinking about that reminds me of the bruises I obtained from last night's tumble at work.
((We don't have a curfew either))

^ Oh HELL no! I wish it had! It's been BLISTERING for the last couple of days.
> I've still got my lovely lil' GBC. I should get new batteries and get back to Crystal. Though I think I've got about 99 hours of game play on it. Yup. 99 hours. I'm addicted to Pokemon, sad as that sounds. On another note... I have the most awesome Warlovian friends! Props to ozzie, who gave me a program from The Main Event for Christmas! Ozzie, you're a bloomin' Warlovian Legend!
V Gotten any awesome early gifts this year?

> Christmas seems kinda weird this year, actually.
V Looking forward to the big day?

|
Post by Fredus on Dec 21, 2008 20:29:43 GMT 9.5
^ Yes. I love Christmas. It's my favourite day of the year. From a distance. When it actually gets here we're almost certain to have a huge and depressing family argument. > I'm not sure what to do next weekend. I get four days off, so I'll go to my brother's after work on Chrstmas Eve, but he's going away on Saturday. My brother says I can just stay at his house until it's time to go back to work, which sounded good, but now Sister's asked me to go to her place. I love my sister, but her assorted pygmies are so loud. I want to say no, but I don't want to insult her. *sigh* There goes my restful days off... V Got much/any time off for Christmas?

|
Post by killerbananas on Dec 21, 2008 20:52:32 GMT 9.5
^ As I'm a casual, I have more spare time than work time.
> Not that I like that.
V Looking forward to just relaxing for summer?
|
|
|
Post by Fredus on Dec 22, 2008 20:06:53 GMT 9.5
^ No relaxing for me. Apparently summer is our busiest time at work.
> I'm listening to the Snow Goose at the moment. No one warned me that it was sad! The first time I heard it, about halfway through, it occured to me that it wasn't going to have a happy ending. I think I actually had tears in my eyes at the end, which is terribly embarrassing, as I do not cry because of such things... ... ... except when I'm reading the Seven Little Australians. That ending makes me cry every time, and I always feel like such a fool...
V Snow Goose ever make you cry?

|
Post by killerbananas on Dec 22, 2008 20:36:07 GMT 9.5

> I also cry reading 7 Little Australian!

Post by Marie-Cris on Dec 23, 2008 18:06:48 GMT 9.5
^ The only one I know of was the "lesbian" one, but that wasn't really viscious. At least, to me it wasn't. It probably upset my mate a bit, I don't know, but the class of homophobes 04 most likely didn't know that I don't care if I end up bi and so a remark like that wouldn't be an insult.
> Looks like the rellies won't be coming up for Christmas. I'm relieved, actually; I want a quiet one, and so does mum.
V Got plans for New Years'?

|
Post by killerbananas on Dec 23, 2008 19:46:24 GMT 9.5
^ Did. Someone killed them a little. And boy have I been digging the claws into them.
> I've had the lesbian rumors too. Just because I have a really good female friend and don't really get along with many guys, instantly I'm a lesbian >.< Well now I'm either in a threesome relationship or having Josh's baby. Wish they'd make up their minds!
V Do you randomly *SQUEE* at Phantom references?
|
|
|
Post by Fredus on Dec 25, 2008 20:01:44 GMT 9.5
^ Not out loud. But since I have joined this forum, there are way too many (random) things that make me *SQUEE* in my head.
> My brother gave a new dock for my ipod today - it's a flower. That dances. Which sounds weird, but is actually really cool. We had lunch outside, so the only music that was easily transportable was my flower. So everyone had to spend hours listening to Anthony. Not that I was complaining. And it turns out my sister-in-laws family all went and saw him at that concert he did at - was it a winery? Anyway, I am incredibly jealous, and mentioned that to them. So we ended up talking about Ant for ages. Cool.
V How was your Christmas?

^ I got mocked for wanted to go to LPS. Apparently my cousins think its the stupidest thing they've ever heard. And I also got told I'm an adult every Christmas from now on, so I'm expected to bring a date, contribute food and help serve and tidy up. >.< Freaking tradition!
> On Dancesport last night the Aus champions competing in the Walz had 'Sympathy, Tenderness' for their music! I had a Warlovian moment/
V Do you have a distinct family tradition for Christmas?
