> I suppose tonight is "Fend For Yourself" night; it's already 7 and the folks haven't had dinner.
V Had ((or will have)) a good dinner tonight?
Post by sanderella59 on Jan 21, 2008 19:20:40 GMT 9.5
^ Just finished dinner. Ended up doing the usual feed the 5000 with not much food. Enough steak defrosted for Matt and me, then he informs me (again) that there will be 3 more for dinner. So BBQ rump steak and salad turns into chilli beef stirfry with stacks of vegetables and rice. His friends like my food and wished their mothers cooked like me!!! But God they eat a lot!!!
> Now having dessert of raspberries and homemade lime icecream. Very nice.
> What would your last-request meal be if you were on death row? (morbid I know!!)

^ Well ... I wouldn't request something thing that's consumed in the regular idea, but rather ... *checks watch* Damn, not yet.
> I suppose Ant would already be checked in to a hotel in Brissy by now, eh? Or maybe everyone's lingering a bit as the equipment makes its way North ... ((obsessive? Me? Never!))
V When was the last time you went camping?
Post by sanderella59 on Jan 21, 2008 20:52:22 GMT 9.5
^ Apart from yesterday afternoon XD XD XD 2 years ago on North Stradbroke Island with my best friend who I'm going to see POTO with in 3 and a half weeks. We had a blast. Camped about 3km along the beach on far north of the island, miles from anyone, drank gin, played scrabble and pictionary and ate way too much seafood.
> It takes longer to drive from Melbourne to Brisbane than a day!!!
V What would be your dream holiday destination, no expenses spared?
Post by Marie-Cris on Jan 21, 2008 21:28:18 GMT 9.5
^ I'm not sure. Possibly Italy. Or Broadway.
> Whoops; for some reason I forgot about the car and thought he'd jet off to Brissy. Odd eh? I hope he's got fuel vouchers.
V Speaking of which, what's the price of petrol where you are?

V whats your dream car?

Post by Marie-Cris on Jan 22, 2008 17:50:05 GMT 9.5
^ The sleek little black thing I saw on Top Gear last night that can go over 400 ...
> $1.35?! That's cheap as! Damn you're lucky!
V What do you think about the Age of Reason / Phantom from The Main Event?
Post by lauren on Jan 22, 2008 18:04:59 GMT 9.5
^ havent heard/seen all of the main event *ducks flying food* yet! i have heard Ants jazzy phantom tho, which is what i use to introduce people to Ant, its short and sweet. (at least the part of him singing alone is!)
> i think petrol was $1.50 a while back tho, and i watched top gear last night!
V do you watch top gear?
Post by Marie-Cris on Jan 22, 2008 18:23:47 GMT 9.5
^ Oh yeah. Hugh Grant's lap around the track was rather embarrassing.
> Ant's jazzy Phantom is off The Main Event; track 3 on the Highlights CD, and then he and Farnham slip into a crossover.
V Do you watch Mythbusters?

Post by lauren on Jan 22, 2008 18:39:10 GMT 9.5
^ hell yes! great show.
> i'll get around to listening/watching all of the mainevent one day. im listening to the snow goose at the moment, it reminds me of war of the worlds a little.
V heard war of the worlds?
Post by Marie-Cris on Jan 22, 2008 18:55:38 GMT 9.5
^ No; I made the unfortunate mistake of watching the movie. > I always cry after listening to Snow Goose. It's gone through a lot of changes from the book but it's still a wonderful listen V Opinion of Snow Goose?

^ My favourite ever book since I was about 4 years old. And to have that, combined with the Ant voice and that wonderful evocative music *sigh* I listen to it when I'm having trouble sleeping............ *sleepy*
> That car Jeremy drove last night was a Bugatti Veyron, I lust after it. But would settle for an Aston Martin DB9 or even an Audi TT (even though they think it's rubbish)
V Which part of the Warlow package is more impressive - the acting or the singing?
Post by Marie-Cris on Jan 22, 2008 19:41:37 GMT 9.5
^ You're so lucky you added that last bit. XD For me it's the singing, not just because I'm audio-sensitive but because it's the aspect of him that caught my attention first. Do enjoy the acting though > Yes, the Veyron; want. That and a good stretch of land to drive it on. V What's the furthest you've ever driven?

^ from Lands End in Cornwall to John O'Groats in Scotland. Took a while cos I kept stopping for photos. About 4 weeks!!!!
> I heard an interview with Jeremy Clarkson's Mum on a BBC podcast at the weekend and she was responsible for the first ever Paddington Bear toy and ended up with a million pound manufacturing company making all sizes of Paddington Bears. He originally didn't have Wellington Boots in the book but she couldn't get him to stand up without shoes so Michael Bond who wrote the books wrote a new book where Paddington got some boots so that she could put boots on her toys without children noticing anything wrong!!
V Were you a fan of Paddington or do you have no idea what I've just been on about???
Post by Marie-Cris on Jan 22, 2008 19:52:26 GMT 9.5
^ OMG!! YES! I loved Paddington Bear! They don't even show the animated episodes anymore, the swines!
> ...
V Remember Alf?
Post by sanderella59 on Jan 22, 2008 19:57:39 GMT 9.5
^ yes!!! "feline mignon' I loved Alf. We used to have an Alf toy. should have given it to the cat to play with but doubt if he'd appreciate the irony!!!!
> Shivering again tonight. maybe it's more flu than tiredness. feel a bit achy to. Oh God, I'm turning into my hypochondriac mother!!!!
V Do you have a secret fear that one day you will wake up and will have turned into your mother?
Post by Marie-Cris on Jan 22, 2008 20:20:24 GMT 9.5
^ No, because I woke up one morning to find that mother had turned into one of us.
*noise outside* MUM: *looks out the window* "Is that a reindeer?"
It's official; mum is now officially a Williams.
> It's going to be hell for whoever I end up marrying. XD
V What's the most amount of cast recordings you have of a single musical?
Post by killerbananas on Jan 25, 2008 14:54:09 GMT 9.5
^ 3, and it's a tie between Les Mis (Original London, 10 year concert and Complete Symphonic) and Phantom (Original, Film and *cough*)
> I finally found a computer that lets me on Myspace! Woot! Plus I also pity whoever marries into my family- if you don't like/appreciate theatre you're gone!
V Would you date a guy who hated Ant?
Post by lauren on Jan 25, 2008 21:04:55 GMT 9.5
^ would the guy you're dating even know of Ant? lol if he hated Ant (but other points of our personality were compatible) i still would date him, i like a challenge!
> And does it count if you have multiple *cough* of one musical? XD
V Ever met someone who hates Ant?
Post by Marie-Cris on Jan 25, 2008 22:22:43 GMT 9.5
^ Actually apart you you girls, I haven't met anyone who even knows who he is ((nobody say anything about where I live)). I have seen a CD review on the net ((this was last year')) written by someone who doesn't think much of him and wasn't impressed with The Best of Act One ... but that's about it.
> Now that I've seen Phantom and met Ant, and knowing that my letter will take ages to reach him ((should the Princess ever forward it *grumbletheybettergrumble*)), I'm sort-of wondering what I should do next. I feel somewhat ... empty. As if now that it's happened, it's over.
V How are you feeling?
Post by lauren on Jan 26, 2008 14:41:06 GMT 9.5
^ hot and slighty annoyed.
> a horse stood on my foot today....that was interesting
V have you ever been hurt by a horse in anyway? (falling off, stood on etc.)
Post by Marie-Cris on Jan 26, 2008 19:55:43 GMT 9.5
^ Well when I was four my mother lifted me up to put me on a horse but she lot go before I even touched the saddle, and I ended up falling head first onto the cement.
> Needless to say I'm not much of a horse person.
