... yes. Only if I knew I could get away with it. Which wouldn't be likely. XD
Ever hit a road block in your life, then read some so wonderful that it really put things into perspective?

No... I don't think I have. Though I'm going to KILL the channel seven people for called Air Crash Investigations "Phantom Strike" this week. My HEAD keeps shooting up inconveniently!
Do you collect stuffed animals/toys?

Not actively. Although, there is a sleeping bag leaning against a wall in my brother's house which is full of various stuffed toys. So, I have in the past.
Do you have a treasured stuffed animal that still has pride of place, even though you're supposed to be all grown up?

Yes - a ratty old dog that I still love to bits. He gets pulled out of the cupboard occasionally when I'm having a rough patch. (at least he's in better condition than my sister's fave toy - it was a raccoon, and the tail on it had to be replaced 4 times!)
Do you wish you had a twin? (I bring this up because there's been a bit of chatter about twins on here, and I'm an identical twin)

Yes. Although I haven't done it for years. It makes my top lip all wet. Yuck.
(jekkie, I very much wish my sort-of twin was an actual twin. Now I have to be jealous of you and lauren) Also, I have a popple that sits on the cd player next to my bed. Every night when I change the cd, I have to give her a hug.
When it's dumping down rain, do you ever go and stand in it, just because it's so nice?

I kicked the youngest of my brothers once, and when he recovered he picked me up and held me upside down, while yelling at me. I was petrified. Moral of the story: don't hurt someone bigger than you. (I hate having three oler brothers sometimes)
Was today a nice day for you?

Yes. Want to swap jobs? I've had 3 hours sleep and 3 Red Bulls in the last 48 hours.
Are you having holidays at Christmas time or working like me?

Well, obviously I do, but my parents also have managed to get 3 weeks off, because we are going to do a trip around the south Island. Most of it will be done in a tent.

Heck no! The idea of hurtling towards the earth only to be suddenly flung back into the sky is about as scary as it gets for me (aside from spiders)!
Are you irrationally terrified of insects with 8 legs?

|
Post by Fredus on Dec 3, 2008 18:39:00 GMT 9.5
Oh yeah. Absolutely petrified. My brothers, charming sods that they are, get great amusement out of telling me there's a spider running up my arm or near my leg or something. I know they're just picking on me, but I have to react. Are you scared of heights?

Nope. I was, but skyscrapers changed that.
Are you a good swimmer?

Post by Fredus on Dec 3, 2008 20:44:01 GMT 9.5
Depends who you ask. It's a family joke that I took forever to learn how to swim - but I didn't really. I just had trouble co-ordinating the breathing in freestyle. I could swim, or I could breathe I can stop myself from drowning, which is the important thing. (^Did you know, if you are in a skyscraper, firemen's ladders usually only reach the third or fourth floor. If there's a fire and you're on the fifth floor, you have problems... Now are you scared of heights again? XD) Do you like swimming in the ocean?
