Would depend on the type of job and the pay I think - would definitely consider it if the remuneration was attractively pitched... Do you think Anthony should have gone to Broadway and made a (bigger) name for himself in the States?

NO! Screw them, he's ours i tell you - ours! No, to be fair i think it's bloomin' fantastic to see Ant be living proof that you can be darn sucessful in musical theatre without making the trip to B'way or the West End like everyone assumes; it CAN happen here, in little old Aus! Those who don't know him in the U.S. are missing out - plus, if they call themselves musical buffs they'd have to be pretty darn ignorant not to have heard of him!
Is opera really a more legit artform than musical theatre?

No, I think to compare is to take something away from both.
Is Ballet a more legit form of dance than modern ballroom?

No - it's about the emotion.
Would you climb Mt. Everst (with a guide, of course) to raise money for a good cause (like save the rainforest/endangered animals. . . )?

Yes - I would but whether I survive or not is a different matter. Do you believe in love at first sight?

100% YES. - Rationally, I say 100% NO, but then I'd be the world's biggest hypocrite (since I've experienced it and still claim it), so I must say yes.
Do you support stem cell research to find a cure for Parkinson's disease?
(Sorry to post twice so close together, but I just felt like answering that.)

Whoa - THAT is a good question!!
My answer is YES. However, I respect any person's opinion on that matter.
Have you ever acknowledged the care you received from a nurse/nurses. Not the Drs, not the hospital/clinic, but a particular nurse?

Yes, the nurse that comforted me when I woke up in hysterics in recovery after a sinus op, tonsils removed and gommits put it when I was 7. I made her a card and bought her flowers.
Have you waited for Ant after a show?

Yes, I have. It was the first time I went to see Phantom. Although I did meet John Bowles I was quite saddened when I was told by a security guy that everyone had gone and I didn't meet him. But this time I'm going to sneak around the back. Mwahahaa! lol so hopefully I wont miss him. Have you ever met Anthony? (and ever asked him to do an impersonation?) (dont have to do the second part of the question)

Yes- with you!
Ever clapped at an awkward moment during a show, such as if you thought a song was finished?

No
Do you have all of Ant's CD's

Sadly no! I'm missing the rarities such as Jekyll and Hyde ((it's Adelaide, what can you do?)), The Secret Garden, Grease, Reckless Kelly, The No. #1 Musicals Album of All Time ((having it burnt is just not the same!)), and whatever Christmas album it was that had him record carols. There's rumoured to be some other album he's appeared on but I can't remember the name of it or what it's all about, so for now I'm leaving that be.
Everything else, yes.
If ((and this is a really big IF)) Unexpected Song held a convention, would you attend? ((I'm not saying there IS going to be one; I don't have THAT much cash))

I'd be there with bells on (and other assorted adornments and decorations!) A week long Ant-fest!! What a delicious prospect. We could give those Trekkies a run for their money! I wonder who we could get to be the keynote speaker?
Do you have all of Ant's DVDs?

Again, sadly, no! I've got Patience, HMS / Trial and Fledermaus. Really pitiful, isn't it? I don't have Pirates, I don't have Tosca ... *sigh*
*iluvant*
((just felt like putting that in))
If you won tickets to Anthony's new show ((whatever it turns out to be)) but not on an all expenses paid trip ((meaning it'll come form your wallet)), would that stop you from going?

No, I'd find the money from somewhere.
Have you ever met and spoken to Ant in person?

Have a good new year's eve?

Indeed. It was fantastic!
If you could celebrate any holiday surrounded by people of your choice- excepting family- would you?

This may sound really daggy, but my family are the people I would choose. I'm really close to my sons, sisters, nieces, nephews and other assorted hangers on. They GET me like not a lot of people do and with them I don't have to pretend to be anything I'm not. I have four or five reallly close friends that are now part of my "family group" and everyone else is really an acquaintance. I keep lots of bits of me hidden from them.
Do you have a soulmate?

I like to think there's a guy out there who's meant for me, but I'm yet to find him (no matter, I'm not even 20 yet).
Have you ever gone all out for Christmas and decorated the outside of your house with all sorts of flashing lights, etc.?
|
|

Post by Marie-Cris on Jan 5, 2008 22:56:08 GMT 9.5
No; but I did help dad take down our old lights and put up the new ones last year'; dangerous and fun.
Despite our goal being very far out of reach, do you think we could at least rustle up 1000 signatures?

Do you think Anthony will ever play the role of The Phantom ever again after this tour?

Probably not. i think almost two years would be enough for anyone.
Do you think his next project should be opera or musical?
