Gene Wilder. Johnny Depp's Wonka gives me the creeps, he looks like a ghostly Michael Jackson. And I do so love Pure Imagination.
performing in front of an audience: singing or giving a speech?

I can't sing to save my life, but I'm confident with a speech, so I'll give a speech!
Debating or Dramatic Monologue?
Post by Marie-Cris on Feb 7, 2008 21:09:18 GMT 9.5
Dramatic Monologue ... No matter what I did, somehow I was always cast ((whether in a play or just to recite something in class)) as the person that cries, dies or gets beaten.
Little wonder Tuptim got bruises on her hips from being chucked about in the RMS production of The King and I! ((at least I let out a death scream to scare the stage hands))
Sense and Sensibility or Pride and Prejudice?

Not really a fan of Jane Austin, but S&S.
Rogers & Hammerstein or Gilbert & Sullivan?

Have to say Ford because my grandfather worked for them.
Octopus or anchovies? (Ant: "Neither, thank-you!" XD)

Post by sanderella59 on Feb 14, 2008 16:00:25 GMT 9.5
Anchovies (especially fresh ones marinated in olive oil and lemon juice sitting in a bar on the Ligurian Coast in Italy)
Weather - Hot and Humid or Cold and Rainy?
Post by MuLo on Feb 14, 2008 21:07:06 GMT 9.5
Hot and Humid
Because there are few sensations in life greater than the simple pleasure of sipping a cold drink outdoors, watching the evening summer storms and experience the break in the weather that brings with it the cool summer breeze. Ah, it's great to be in Australia!!
Moonshine or Sunshine?
Post by Marie-Cris on Feb 14, 2008 21:25:18 GMT 9.5
Moonshine. *shrug* So I'm an old-fashioned romantic.
Brie or Camembert?
Post by MuLo on Feb 15, 2008 22:12:44 GMT 9.5
Camembert. I ate a whole packet, one year, while watching the AFL Grand Final. Didn't realise I'd done it until the game was over and so was the cheese!!!
Football or Cricket?

Footy
laptop or desk top?
Post by MuLo on Feb 16, 2008 15:40:39 GMT 9.5
Ohh, that's a tricky one!!
Normally I would say laptop, for the convenience. I would also say desktop for the speed and more affordable price.
Despite mine being ancient and no finances to replace it, I will still go with:
LAPTOP
Clothes line or Clothes dryer?
Post by sweet intoxication on Feb 16, 2008 20:07:56 GMT 9.5
Clothes line... and I don't know why... ... maybe because they're fun to swing on... when they don't break... Paintings/drawings or computer generated art?
Post by killerbananas on Feb 16, 2008 21:05:48 GMT 9.5
Paintings/ Drawings....although I love the stuff on here!
Clothes lines are better because putting on clothes dried in sunshine and a breeze feel....luscious....
Jaffas or Anteasers?
Post by sweet intoxication on Feb 16, 2008 21:21:42 GMT 9.5
Need you ask?! Anteasers of course!
Touch Pads or Mice?
(as in when you use a laptop) Because I know my mum hates the touch-pad on my laptop. She's always like 'Stephanie, I hate this stupid thing' as I watch her try to use it. I must say, I do get some amusement from it. It's cruel, I know, but it's also very cute!

Post by killerbananas on Feb 16, 2008 21:24:41 GMT 9.5
Touch pads are convenient, however if using a laptop like a desktop- as your home computer- it's easier to have a mouse, due to the scroll XD
Which would prefer as an occupation- Dresser or Hair/Make-up? (for shows of course!)
Post by unwinding_fantasy on Feb 17, 2008 17:17:20 GMT 9.5
Hair/Make-up. They get to spend way more time with... the actors, plus they actually get to touch... the actors too. Costume's just like, "Here's your stuff. I'll fix your tie when you're done." (I'd kill to be the make-up person for Phantom!)
You know those banana-shaped chocolates that each have a different colour on the inside? Do you call them Clinkers or Clangers? (For the record, I've also heard them called Click-Clacks. That's Warehouse brand names for you.)

clinkers
make up person for phantom or les mis?
Post by sweet intoxication on Feb 18, 2008 19:05:26 GMT 9.5
Phantom. Definitely.
Because... well... it's Phantom!
tee hee!
Real grass tennis courts (like wimbledon) or synthetic grass ones?
Post by killerbananas on Feb 19, 2008 9:42:43 GMT 9.5
Real grass- less chance of nasty synth burns if you go for a dramatic hit and roll...
Tennis or Hockey?
Post by lauren on Feb 19, 2008 9:48:24 GMT 9.5
hockey, its more violent XD
drama or theatre studies? (as in the school subjects)
Post by killerbananas on Feb 19, 2008 10:28:30 GMT 9.5
Drama, although I don't mind theatre studies....
Because Wicked's on their VCE viewing list.
Punting or Rowing?
Post by lauren on Feb 19, 2008 10:58:44 GMT 9.5
oooh thats tough, rowing can be nice and smooth, but punting seems more dramatic and possibly dangerous....think id go rowing XD
walk or run?
Post by MuLo on Feb 20, 2008 22:44:45 GMT 9.5
Walk Running results in spinal crush fractures for me. What person, when running, ever looks HAPPY? ?? Shrek or Finding Nemo?
Post by killerbananas on Feb 21, 2008 18:00:43 GMT 9.5
Nemo, although I'll take the Disney classics over either anyday!
Second-best Guest or Hasslehyde?
