Peanut butter, but it must be crunchy! (As if I'm not nutty enough as it is.)
Which would you rather live without: eyesight or hearing?

lol me and bec have an agreement, she sees for me, i hear for her. i'd really hate to be blind, but i enjoy being able to hear things like music... Think i'd rather be deaf
would you rather having a brother or sister?
Post by unwinding_fantasy on Feb 2, 2008 14:38:55 GMT 9.5
Brother. My little bro is the most awesome person ever. He let me drag him to Melbourne to meet Ant, who he doesn't hold any fondness for, all because my friend who couldn't go with me wanted an autograph and I wasn't gonna ask him to sign two programs!
A sister would drive me mental. She'd be pretty and into clubbing, dating and mainstream music. That would kill me.
If you had to, which parent would you prefer Ant to meet? (And, because I'm curious, why?)

i would say my dad because he'd be sensible, but we dont get along/talk at all. so my mum, who would probably embarass me and what-not lol
my twin sister's school captain.
Have any family pressure to live up to?

Post by killerbananas on Feb 2, 2008 21:24:33 GMT 9.5
I have to at least do well in VCE and complete a Uni degree- my aunt did that and is the most successful in the family, so therefore my entire family sees Uni as a fast track to success. I want to go to Uni, so its not really too much pressure.
There is no way in hell I would let either my mum or dad meet Ant- because my mum likes Rob Gag-fest Guest the best and I haven't seen my dad in like 10 years. I'd like to met him with my nan, as she'd probably cry of shock and happiness!
Who's your favourite parent, your mum or your dad?
Post by unwinding_fantasy on Feb 2, 2008 22:38:26 GMT 9.5
Can't really pick a favourite. Dad and I have a similar personality so we don't step on each other's toes, but he can be really embarrassing with his lame jokes. Mum is too emotional and gets offended by a lot of my "devil's advocate" or purely observational comments, but we muck around a lot. I would definitely bring mum to meet Ant because she could hit it off with a tree. XD
German accent or French?

Post by sanderella59 on Feb 2, 2008 22:49:44 GMT 9.5
Definitely French!!! Much easier to speak and sounds so divine. German has too many gutteral sounds and always sounds angry somehow, even Bach cantatas. Doing St Matthews Passion for Easter. (Actually, rather do St Anthony's Passion, but don't think Bach did one of those!!!) XD
Coke - Diet or Zero?

Post by killerbananas on Feb 3, 2008 16:10:24 GMT 9.5
Full on Coke- its actually the best for you, even though it eats through your stomach lining! But as I must choose, I'll take Zero.
St Anthony's Passion? Should we employ a composer?
Mozart or Strauss?

Tchaikovsky! but out of those two mozart, i'm not familar with strauss
nutcracker or swan lake?
Post by killerbananas on Feb 3, 2008 16:24:04 GMT 9.5
Swan Lake, although the Australian Ballet's Nutcracker last year was fantastic, possibly the best ballet I've seen- plus it had Steven Heathcote and Lisa Bolte!
Wicked or Spamalot?

loud or quiet?

Quiet
((we're opposites Becs; cities give me headaches))
MP3s or iPods?
Post by killerbananas on Feb 3, 2008 19:45:49 GMT 9.5
iPods, although Loz's MP3 has benefits XD
(And Loz, you are familiar with Strauss- Die Fledermaus!)
CD or Vinyl?
Post by Marie-Cris on Feb 3, 2008 20:51:22 GMT 9.5
Dammit!! ... CD. I do love vinyl but mother got rid of the albums we had, plus the record player at the turn of the century and it's very hard to track down a player. CDs are convenient.
MySpace or FaceBook?
Post by killerbananas on Feb 3, 2008 20:53:20 GMT 9.5
Myspace. I can't be bothered making a facebook and hunting everyone down, when it'll be out of fashion in 2 months.
Eisenstein or Enjolras?
Post by Marie-Cris on Feb 3, 2008 21:26:56 GMT 9.5
Eisenstein! To tell you the truth Enjorlas doesn't appeal to me that much. He does when he says his name, but otherwise ... XD
Captain Corcoran or Archibald Grosvenor?
Post by unwinding_fantasy on Feb 4, 2008 19:08:52 GMT 9.5
Actually, not so tricky for me. I'd take opera because he packs so much emotion into it. Swing is nice background music, but I much prefer to hear him singing roles.
Trickier: heartbroken!Erik or devilish!Erik. (If you're having trouble with that, think Finale versus chandelier crash.)
Post by unwinding_fantasy on Feb 4, 2008 19:25:53 GMT 9.5
^ But heartbroken!Erik is ripe for the abducting comforting. XD Actually, I don't think I can choose between them...
I'm probably the only person here that would say it, but Jekyll. I could listen to him talk all day long. *eyes glaze over*
Thinking jewellery: gold or silver?
Post by Marie-Cris on Feb 4, 2008 21:30:33 GMT 9.5
... You're kidding, aren't you? XD Musical instruments.
Monty Python and the Holy Grail or Monty Python and The Meaning of Life? ((because I'm not smart enough to think of another character comparison))
Post by killerbananas on Feb 5, 2008 20:50:33 GMT 9.5
Holy Grail. The Knight scene- "It's merely a flesh wound" cracks me up every time...
I seem to be on a G&s kick, so The Mikado or HMS Pinafore?
Post by sanderella59 on Feb 6, 2008 10:07:43 GMT 9.5
Pinafore..... because I long for Corcoran. I would be a devoted Buttercup!!! St Anthony's Passion? Should we employ a composer? I'm prepared, in the interests of music, to experience St Anthony's passion, so I could then use my experience as inspiration to compose a piece that did him justice. See how much I'm prepared to suffer for my art!!! XD XD Breakfast eggs - poached or scrambled?
Post by lauren on Feb 6, 2008 20:01:05 GMT 9.5
scrambled, im not that fond of eggs at the moment...
red meat or white?
Post by unwinding_fantasy on Feb 6, 2008 22:15:08 GMT 9.5
White. I eat that much chicken my mother's frequently warned me, "You'll turn into one!" XD
Depp or Wilder Willy Wonka? (Bit of a tongue twister there.)
