What's your favourite role he's done, vocally or on stage?
Naturally, I think everything he's done is truly amazing, but I think for me it's a toss up between Trial By Jury and Jekyll/Hyde. I lean more towards TBJ because I saw that live, it's when he spoke to me and it's when he's just so flipping amazing that people don't even recognize him!!
So, what about you guys?

Oh Goddess that's hard. Jekyll and Hyde is of course a favourite ((and were it not for that I never would have known about him)), but performance wise ... *thinks* Goddess, I like him with a moustache ((even if I can't spell it)), so either Captain Corcoran or Archibald Grosvenor ... okay no, I can't decide. But he did do well as Eisenstein

He's also easily one of the greatest and sexiest Phantoms to have graced the stage, remember that! AND the youngest! But i agree that recording-wise, he rocked the bloomin' socks off J&H, and he has been the most beautiful Archie of any of the recordings - and i don't doubt he played the part wonderfully too.

Congratulate my computer for screwing me over once again; looks like my post didn't register when it went to ERROR. The article is still up there, but the link to the audio clip isn't, and now I can't remember what the link is!

I've only seen him live in Phantom, so I'd have to say that. Although I have to agree with everyone who says that he's amazing vocally in J&H.

Goddess, this thread is OLD. I retract my earlier statement, only to put it in second place. He will always be the Angel of Music for me.

Warlow has never performed the role on stage.

unfortunately for us. Although I'm not sure I'd be able to survive seeing/hearing him to the Hyde voice live. I think I'd melt.
And I reserve judgment on what my favorite role is until I get to see him live.

with any luck I will get to see him in 2 weeks. I'm up there for 4 nights, so he'd better not be sick for all of them. especially after i forked out $122 for a ticket for the thursday night show (bloody showbiz).
Although having missed him 3 times now, I'm beginning to think im cursed...

Haha, i just looked above and found my post from when i had first heard the Phantom news. Hehe, the memories. And kl, i'm with you - Ant in J&H onstage.... might just prove fatal... but how sweet a death it would be! My God, if they put that one on dvd, the Hoff would soon find himself huddled in some corner crying - if he is not already doing that. Props to the man, great cameo in the Spongebob film, but ... reallly.

Actually, i always thought his balance on the water was coming from.... well, somewhere else! And besides, you can't beat a life-size Hoff figurine, with permenant cheesy grin and boardies on! Or can you...
