Yes - a very warm welcome to you, Master! My goodness but my career as a mod is getting off to a terrible start; i didn't even realise i WAS a mod, hehe! I've been away from the comp for about a week and i'm so silly that when i returned i didn't think to check. But my thanks to Marie for appointing myself and Windbelle - we shall do our bestest and have lots of fun, i'm sure! And in the meantime, we will take over youtube!!!!!!!!!!! BOO YEH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MWUA HA HA ATTACK OF THE WARLOW FANGIRLS. XD
Speaking of YouTube, I've still got a ton of requests to fill. *sigh* Plus I was hoping to upload a few sections of my own from The Main Event. And several other video projects I've been planning.
...
A fan-girl's work is never done, eh? At least the Warlow fan group I made on YouTube will get a few more videos to the pile

What other ME sections did you want on there, Marie? Coz if you like, i'd be happy to put them there, but it's fine if you'd like to do it yourself. I just wanted to offer help in case you have quite the youtube workload, hehe!

I think the interaction between Warlow and Farnham is the best bit of The Main Event. I really REALLY wanna show the break they have between That's Life / Bad Habits but then that's giving out the jewel of the footage. So I think perhaps Granada would be a good choice. There's another song I'm working on atm so I'll put that up once it's done

If you have a program that allows you to rip DVD footage, yes ((and if you have the actual DVD footage))

I don't know; ever since I started putting up footage there's been a flood of responses and I haven't checked them all out yet. If it's up there, great!
EDIT: Oh, yes it is. AH HA HA HA well that cuts out the work load XD OH NOZ, don't tell me their interaction is up their too! That's the best bit! No more sales of The Main Event!

I'm sorry Marie - i didn't mean to cut short the demand for buying the product, for if it makes you feel any bettern, i on't even own a proper copy coz they don't sell any anywhere near me! I just hired it one day at a very random video store, completely by chance! Besides, it would only be available in Region 4 anyway i assume, so that excludes UK and US fans from purchasing it in most cases anyway. But i am sorry!

Awe it's all right. It was bound to happen sooner or later anyway. Oh, and I heard from someone on YouTube that there's a Warlow DVD available in Region 0, wherever that is ((I don't know the region codes lol))

Post by neh on Jan 19, 2007 14:51:12 GMT 9.5
WHAT THE HECK IS REGION 0? Coz it sounds as though it must be a universal region, perhaps? But then, don't our dvds play on a PAL format and others don't? *Neh really has no idea of what she speaks here - just picking up random things her dad has mentioned and no doubt using them incorrectly*

I don't know about that ((I don't know what that means!)). But the thing is, most DVD players these days are multi-region; surely they're not just selling multi-region players in Aus! I've actually got a Region 2 DVD and it plays pretty well on my computer and on the one in the lounge that we've had for a few years ((and we were one of the last people in town to get DVD players)), so what's really the problem here? Access. They say "Oh, Region whatsit, so we're not selling it here" - horseshit ((and I can say that because it's said on Ever After and what is that, PG?)). The problem with stores is that they're refusing to acknowledge that people have multi-player DVD players, so why not sell the things other people can get? Is it the price of export? Is that the problem? Because seriously, there's some content that I want from Regions 1 or 2 or whatever it is but it can't be sold here because the stores are going strictly by Region 4 - and eBay doesn't sell em! Who would sell it on eBay? Stores would get a lot of demand if they just sold the things we bloody want to see despite the code - who cares about the code? It means nothing these days. All it's doing is making racist labels of regions ((racist said kindly loosely for want of a better word)). "Oh sorry we don't sell that here, it's Region 1": This was the response I got when enquiring for a DVD in Borders. BORDERS! The American company! The original Region 1 company with a branch in Australia and they won't sell the content of their original country? WTF is up with that?
...
Ignore me. I've been snacking on olives and gerkins. And it's raining.

Admit it; you liked it, didn't you? ;D AND NEH IS ALIVE, YAAAAY! *now let's go kidnap warlow*
lol I watched The Accidental Spy yesterday - a Jacki Chan film - and in one of the fight scenes he uses the shock paddles to shock the enemies on the hands and on the face, and with the last guy he manages to get one paddle on the other guy's cheek, but the other guy pushes the other paddle on JACKIE'S cheek just before Jackie pulls the trigger. Talk about the ouch factor

They use those in hospitals to "jump start" the heart when someone goes into a flatline. A bit like starting up the engine of a car really. There's a gag on the Simpsons in one episode where Homer gets the shock paddles on him and he's conscious, even though the machine is flatlining ((indicating that he's dead)), and he goes: "More." until Dr. Hibbert manages to get his heart starting again.
