I think I hear Mars getting an idea....
There's usually a few people around the stage door at the Princess, but if Lauren and I are there no-one else stands a chance XD
Hmm, my spine is lying on my Yoga mat, trying to recover...

I don't want anything to happen until I get my Hyde Treatment T-shirt.

Right now I'm trying to imagine the reaction of Ant if he were flocked by a large amount of people wearing "Hyde Treatment" t-shirts giving him their phone numbers...
Everyone'd be like *bows* and he'd be like *hides* then he'd go back to the hotel and *drink*
;D

That was a near overload of smilies there, Guitargirl!
Hmmmm, if I was Ant, and I saw all of us approaching, I would run as fast as I could in the opposite direction XD

We should definitely lurk, before show and, failing that, afterwards. Famous people can't ignore a large group of fans, right? Right?
*grasping at straws*
(Seriously. I'm going to the performance on the 19th but if I chicken out miss Ant I'd return the next day for a chance to meet him and co.)

Hopefully you have more luck than Lauren and I!! We've easily spent $50 on train tickets to hang around outside the Princess!

But last performance! Surely he can't ignore his adoring stalkers public.

Ok, I am sooo thrilled to be typing this- an Ant sighting/ meeting occurred! Mars, Lauren and myself had an encounter of the Ant kind, and it was bliss orgasmic Antasmically Phantastic- there are no words to describe the happiness I felt, which I assume was also felt by Mars and Lauren, judging by the bizarre array of noises we made when we spotted him- we startled him a bit I think! He was so nice, signing programmes, posters, postcards, and having about 50 million photos taken with us! Plus we had a good chat, without any of us coming across too crazy, except for when we randomly came out with comments that threw him a bit. But if you put in the effort, its well worth meeting him- and he's even more attractive when he's standing a mere 100cm in front of you XD

^ It works now, and wow again, that's amazing. lol @ Ant mimicking voice cracking. And still the website thing! Oh, God...!
But now I need to ask: what kind of pen is a "sharpie"? Where can I pick one up? (I'm determined to do this right. Cue compulsive planning.)

huzzah it worked!!! and a sharpie is a silver marker, they are the best pens for dark programs, you can pick them up at office works and some supermarkets. XD

Fabulous account Lauren, and I enjoyed Bec's review as well. Sorry Grossi Florentini was closed. Wil have to find somewhere else to eat weekend after next between shows. Have just checked my tickets for the shows. One in Grand, one in dress and one in stalls so will get three different angles. All in the high 20's or low 30's and that's the side I prefer cos that's where I had my eye contact (well via binoculars) moment at the end of the show and my last three shows were all in the single digits.

you should try spaghetti tree just opposite grossi florenti, i think bec mentions it in one blog or the other, it was very good. And thats cool with the seating, bec and i will have sat in every level, seen 2 different phantoms, raouls and christines buy the 15th lol.

<------- sharpie Ah-hah, now I see the light. I was wondering how on Earth the cast would sign considering the program's pretty much black, black and more black. Clearly I forgot other colours exist. I haven't been in the dress circle yet, only once (soon to be twice) in stalls and once in Grand, which was pretty terrible. Last time I was there I began talking to a girl who'd only seen the movie and started ranting about how great the on-stage production is. After much rambling I remembered to ask, "By the way, where are you sitting?" When she replied, "Grand, row H", which was even worse than where I'd previously been, my heart just sank. Don't you feel sorry for all those people that haven't experienced it up close?

Wait my sharpie isn't that flash, although its preferred by Simon Pryce XD
Ant was expecting us to be prepared with sharpies, so if you want his sig make sure you have one!

Mine WAS dying after Simon last used it, but I gave it some TLC and it pulled through- it just wanted to be touched by Ant... it was so funny when he went to write and said "Oh, this one's dying"
