went to Melbourne today..trying to find an ant cd...god darn that man is hard to find and with a budget of only $20 in my pocket it was limited but finally when i found him*thank you jb hifi* i found 2 cd's one was back in the swing the other i cant remember haha but the other was $25 where as back in the swing was $17 and i probably would have got that one anyway because i've been hanging out to hear him to sing Smile...Great song made by a man i think is great and was born on the same day as me sung by my hero and favorite all time singer...couldn't get any better... well im sure it could get a lot better but my point is i finally got to hear him sing that song..

I mentioned this shop in an earlier post (from last year!), but if people are still looking to find that beloved CD / DVD to complete their collection... Middle 8 Music in South Yarra, Melbourne is having a 15% off sale this weekend... www.middle8.com/mem/default.asp

Went into JB Hifi on Bourke St. (Melbourne) yesterday and was browsing some cds that were on sale. They have a copy of The Main Event Highlights cd for $9.99. Would've gotten it, but I figured I have the dvd already anyway.
Edit: And I went to the ABC shop also on Bourke St. and they had a few copies of Tenor and Baritone in stock. (Now I've finally got an actual copy of it).

Middle 8, the ABC Shop and Borders have been good bets for Warlow's merch. Yes, JB HIFI too, but I'm rather iffy about that place.
Congrats on the find giz!

How can you be iffy about JB? I really need to go to Middle 8, I feel the urge to spend some money...

If we're talking about where to get Warlow cd's, Poppy suggested Michaels Music Room to me. They don't have a website at the moment, but google them, find their phone number and call them. I got Tenor and Baritone, and the Snow Goose from them. The guy I was talking to said they had 40 copies of the Snow Goose, so if anyone's searching for them... They also sent my cd's straight away, as I got them the next day.
Also, Abels in Canberra (Manuka, actually), they're good. My youngest brother is sort of living with the girl who does their buying, and she'd go above and beyond to hunt down a cd. I think.

Becs, you haven't seen Adelaide's JB HIFI.
It's a freakin' hovel.

Poppy, in Adelaide you can't turn around without running into The Best of Act One. I recommend Borders; grab your self a Gloria Jean's and then go up the escelator for all your CD and DVD desires.
And yes, a hovel. A dark, dingy hovel.

We should all meet up some time, seriously. We can traverse through Borders with our coffee in tow and head off to Beehive Corner for Haigh's.
And if we all suddenly rock up at the ABC Shop I think it'd give the attendants quite a shock XD
Oh, word of warning: Don't eat at the Myer food court. Horrible stuff. The Post Office food court is better ((and it has Hungry Jacks)), and then there's another food court at the other end of the mall that has McDonald's and ... I actually don't know what else it has, but then across the road from Maccas is a KFC in the mall, and then out of the mall there's another HJ.
Oh, but if you're looking for a Subway, you need to go down Rundle Street; not very far, just where the car park building is. You can also find a Sushi King or something like that along that road, and jewellry stores and a tattoo parlor, and ... so forth ...
...
I spent a lot of Thursdays wandering the mall from noon to 4 waiting for my Occ. Health and Safety course at uni.

That sounds cool. I like the idea of a throng of Warlow-cazed fans running about the city, stalking out every possible piece of Ant-related merchandise I thought it was a fair distance to get from one place to the other though. Then again, I was only 15 when I visited Adelaide and my friend who lived there seemed to drag me to the various shopping centres, etc the long way round!

Well, I have time enough off work that I'm going to be hanging around in Adelaide until at least the 29th. I'm all up for being part of a throng. XD

It's not that far, really. Rundle Mall is a long stretch but it's a flatter, shorter, tram-less version of Bourke St. Depending on your stride and how many people get in your way, you could walk from one end to the other in about ... 20 minutes perhaps? I've got short strides and tend to get pushed into the crowd a lot though, so ...
I know the placings of almost all of the shops in there.

I'm in for a meet up...............................................there is nothing like safety in numbers. HJ! now Hungry Jacks wasn't the first thing that popped into my head (they didn't call me Smutty McSmuttstone from Smuttsville for nothing)

I WAS going to try and connect that to HJ7 but I only know of two HJs in that district.

I USE the term HJ, and still got sucked into the other HJ territory. And are there any restaurants or cafes? I hate living on fast food.
Mar, did you say there's a tattoo parlour?
