they were surprised to see it....
jackie- couldn't believe i'd kept the programme. simon-wanted to see how young he looked then and i said that he hasn't really changed...which he hasn't David r-s-was surpised as well but didn't say much cos he had to run to the bank Ana-and richard (i think) flicked thru and she said when in brisbane she was the one with the triangle in masquarade but she wasn't in the photo of the programme that was someone else. but i think richard said she was still in school then
everyone had a flick thru the old programme and enjoyed seeing it. even some of the dancers...who weren't even in high school yet had a look.(boy do i feel old now!)

I just listened to her rendition of Point of No Return (with Brad Little) and it gave me the shivers. While I absolutely ADORE Julie Goodwin, I hope I get to see Ana perform atleast once for comparisons sake

Does anyone know if Ana has been doing any of the shows? I just heard from a not so reliable source (works in the area) that she was sick.
I do loves my little Ana she is just perfect. She was really sweet when we asked for her pic and she was very patient as that was precise time my friggin camera started to stuff up.She will be my Fav Christine. I really missed her when i was in Syd.

I saw her last Friday night for the first time and she sounded like she was either unwell or having a bad night. After watching clips of her on youtube I'm inclined to believe the former is true. Julie performed in both of Saturdays shows.
EDIT: After watching her tonight I have to say I have a new found respect for Ana. She has a magnificent voice and her portrayal of Christine at the LSS was simply stunning!

Gotta say: since i saw it in Melbourne, Ana's dancing has just shot up about twenty times over! She was working those pointe moments like i'd never seen before, and it's hardly a requirement that a Christine be able to pull off some truly skilled dancing, but she's just come so far and i love her for it!

I've rediscovered my love for Ana; she gave me goosebumps all weekend, and I was also in awe at her pointe work.

And she was so good-natured when we (semi-)mobbed her on Saturday. God bless her for doing the fanservice with such a lovely smile on her face. More power to the short people.

^ ....another gorgeous pic Son. Thanks for sharing.
My love and appreciation for Ana has just skyrocketed. She signed my daughters photo and sent it back to us, this what she wrote; Dear Layla go for your dreams lots of love Ana Marina xxx
Layla is so excited, she wants to see Ana again and it looks like I've created another little Phan.

Thanks muchly Sandy! Although i don't know if i'd say Ana sounds "as Aussie as the Irwins" - one would hope very few people sound like that! *no offense to the Irwin family, of course*
And i did an audible WOOHOO when i read about the dance training. IMO more Christines should give it a go - i mean, why not?! Enhance the quality of your performance, gals!
