Talk about reprising roles! It doesn't make sense; he did The Mikado back in 05; why would he pick it up again? Did he not make the role his the first time? And he should be working on his other projects anyway! >)_<

That's great! Maybe they are doing it again to get a filmed version and make some extra money out of it?

^ I don't care if they have questionable motives. I'd take Anthony any way I can get him. (Quiet. )

Not saying a word... I agree, it doesn't matter why, it just matters that he is doing it and we have something to look forward to after LPS! Here is the link to the Opera Australia Mikado page with the details: The Mikado

I think you've read it wrong Son. It opens on August 27, plays that night and then is on most of September and October on various nights during those two months finishing on October 31st. OA don't have long consecutive runs like music theatre, and they usually stage 2 or sometimes 3 productions at a time on various nights during the week. This is a real challenge for members of the chorus and those backstage, let me tell you. If you click on Calender on the OA site and then go to those months for 2009 you can see the dates. Aida and Cosi Fan Tutte are playing at the same time.

Hmm ... I think that'll be just after the RMS finish their season of The Mikado ... pity it's not beforehand or I could beg to go to that for some "performing tips".

You're not going to go to the LPS unwinding? I mean after Phantom. Phantom is the limit. I'm already crazy, loopy, insane and fruity. I've managed to stem off mad so far.
