I have considered that, yes ... I haven't reached a decision yet. But it'll definitely help with a certain question I must ask him ((providing we ever meet again *hopes*))

I'm serious about this. I would love for people to be able to buy Warlow ringtones; something else we need to talk to him about.

^ That would add even more to the whole stage-door photo/Holly thing.
I'm gonna see if I can make up a ringtone of Transformation...
(It would be funny if next time someone sees him they ask to record him saying, "Pick up the phone, you fool!" or something... XD)

I've sort-of fixed the Alive ringtone ... I actually turned it into two. One's a long one that starts with the first ... umm ... not exactly cymbals but it's some sort of crash, and that goes right to the end of the interlude. The second one starts the strings go erratic towards the end; it's only 6 seconds long.

Thought that seeing how I've now seen Spamalot twice I should do a sort of review to try and convince those of you who haven't seen it yet to make the effort.
I enjoyed it more the second time than I did the first (I may have been a bit distracted by the presence of Ant in the audience on my first viewing of course). There are just so many funny lines over and above what was in the original movie (which I would have seen over 100 times and know pretty much word for word) and so many visual puns that you miss in just one viewing.
For those of you who don't know the story, it is based fairly closely on the Monty Python and the Holy Grail movie, with additional dialogue and some very witty songs by Eric Idle. It basically tells the story of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table in their quest for the Holy Grail and in telling the story, sends up the popular West End/Broadway hits of recent times, both overtly and subtly. The Song That Goes Like This is lyrically just one giant piss-take of musicals in general, but it is so incredibly musically witty that it is doubly funny. But the thing that makes it so funny is the visual poking fun of the Lake scenes in Phantom - there is a jerky motorised boat, candles and a magnificent chandelier which implodes at the climax of the song (can I say climax before 10pm?) At the end of the French Taunting Scene there is a series of wonderful visual jokes about all things stereotypically French - from the castle appear a Marcel Marceau-like mime, cancan girls, Legionnaires, an artist from Montmartre and Eponine who just wanders around aimlessly looking tragic, and at the end the Tricoleur (the flag of France) is waved Enjolras-like above the battlements of the castle. You Won't Succeed in Broadway could well have been lifted from The Producers and there are other scenes reminiscent of Westside Story and His Name Is Lancelot is pure La Cage Aux Folles (I Am What I Am with boas and maraccas). Always Look on the Bright Side of Life was originally written for The Life of Brian, but it fits perfectly into this story and gave the audience something familiar to latch on to, even those audience members who weren't Python afficianados. The cast was sensational, though I kept thinking which parts Anthony could have played. I gradually came up with a list of all of them, with perhaps the exception of the Lady of The Lake, the dancing girls and Herbert (though he would have been a fine Herbert, just a bit too tall!!) I would love to see his Lancelot (the character, not the er, er,er muttermuttermutter) He would have been a majestic Arthur and a dashing Galahad, a funny Sir Robin and a Patsy that we all would have felt sorry for. Bille Brown plays King Arthur. He has a good sense of comic timing and wonderful stage presence (has acted with Royal Shakespeare in UK so has the pedigree). Stephen Hall as Lancelot, the French Taunter, the Knight of Ni and Tim the Enchanter was also brilliant, and his awkward coming-out scene was very funny. Ben Lewis was a stand out for me (he's also cute to look at) and by far the best singer in the cast. He is the brother of Alexander Lewis who will play Roaul for the rest of the POTO tour. He played Sir Galahad, The Black Knight and Prince Herbert's father. The other cast of Mark Conaghan (Not-Dead-Fred and Prince Herbert), Jason Langley (Sir Robin and Brother Maynard) and David Whitney (Galahad's mother and Sir Bedevere) were also good, and a special mention must go to Derek Metzger (Patsy) for his Chaplinesque portrayal of the down-trodden servant and Lucinda Shaw for her portrayal of the Diva role, the Lady of the Lake. The ensemble and dancers were also tightly rehearsed and the orchestra under the direction of Peter Casey (The Main Event) were boisterous and played well. The whole evening was capped off by the fact that we had second row seats, so every nuance and facial expression was visible. All in all, a fabulous, gut-splittingly funny night's enertainment, and the three young men I was with (2 sons and one friend) laughed just as much as I did.

Yep!!! Sunday 6.30 on December 9th. The day after I nearly knocked him over in the street as I came out of my hotel fiddling with my iPod and then had early dinner in the same restaurant between Saturday shows. It was a big weekend. That was the weekend I acquired "The Secret Knowledge"! It was very funny knowing he was watching them taking the piss (or extracting the urine - as we are not yet 10pm) out of shows he'd been in!

If I had the audio for it I'd be able to do what I did for the others ((hey, I want it too anyway!)). I have to ask Dorian about something first though.
