Hah, like I would vocalise these thoughts. I will be very starstruck well-behaved if we're privileged enough to meet up with him again. Besides, how could he regret meeting people who show up with a hamper full of Haigh's chocolates and Crownies?

By the way, how much per person for the hamper? And who's picking it up?

No idea and no idea. How much chocolate do you reckon would appease him? It will have to be quite large if it's meant to compensate for our bad behaviour. XD
A kilo of Haigh's is $100 for a start. How much would you be willing to pool in? PM if you'd rather not post for fear of wandering eyes. >.>

$100 is fine by me.

^ So you'd be willing to pay up to $100 for this? Or do you mean $100 split x ways?

I mean ... $100. That's two weeks pay of guitar lessons but I got to use the money on something, right?

They'd have a Haigh's in Sydney, wouldn't they? I'd hate to think of Ant going mad for not getting a single one in so many mo -

I can hear your brain ticking.

Sure that's not yours?

Mine exploded in frustration two hours' ago; it's either yours or the bundle of guests that have been lurking here tonight.
((what?))

I'd hate to think of Ant going mad for not getting a single one My mind turned that every which way. Annoying how trivial things like real life interfere with Warlovianism, isn't it?

Just back on the Haigh's there are some truffles a bit cheaper (like $92 a kilo!) or you can get boxes, the 'Haigh's Selections' which range from $26 to $142. They have, obviously, a mix of haighs truffles, loose chocolates as well as the ones they sell in packs.
And they have hot chocolate mugs! And hot chocolate!

Well, my exciting four day mini-break concluded with the "Musical Send-off" in aid of Australia's Paralympic Team in their quest for gold in Beijing in September. It was held at a packed Capitol Theatre and hosted by David Campbell who did a really good job. Performers and acts were Toni Lamond who sang Everything's Coming Up Roses from Gypsy, Genevieve Lemon - Billy Elliot (Electricicty - Billy Elliot), Joshua Horner and Rhys Kosakowski - Billy Elliot (The Dream Ballet - Billy Elliot), Derek Metzger - Spamalot (Anthem - Chess), Sharon Millerchip - RHS ( I Gotcha - Liza with a Z), Eleanor Rokabaro (18 years old)- HSM (Home - The Wiz), Peter Cousens (This Is The Moment - Jekyll & Hyde), Andrew Bevis & Kellie Rode - RHS (My Hands - Metro Street), Ray Crowe the hand guy and mime who did his hand act It's A Wonderful World (YouTube him if you haven't seen it!), David Campbell (Bring Him Home - Les Miserables), Rhonda Burchmore (When You Wish Upon A Star/ Over The Rainbow - Pinocchio/Wizard of Oz) and the First Part concluded with the ensemble from RHS doing Everyone's A Little Bit Racist from Avenue Q.
While I was in the bar at interval topping up my champagne levels, I had Stuart Maunder and some friends on one side of me and John O'May (yes!!!) and some friends on the other side of me. I just stood between them eating Anteasers and drinking bubbles and just enjoying the moment.
After Interval, David Campbell started off the second half with Can't Take My Eyes Off You from Jersey Boys. That was followed by a 17 year old guy from Perth, Tim Little who sang I Could Go The Distance from Hercules. Then followed the cast of Altar Boyz Rhythm In Me - Altar Boyz, Ana Marina - POTO (Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again - POTO), The POTO Dancers (Un Petit Reve choreographed by Georgia Taylor), Michael Cormick - RHS (Sunset Boulevard - Sunset Boulevard), Paul Capsis - RHS (Bang Bang - A Nancy Sinatra classic from his one man show), Tamsin Carroll - RHS (You Don't Have To Say You Love Me - Dusty), David Harris and Jennifer Trijo - Miss Saigon (The Last Night Of The World - Miss Saigon), Rhonda Burchmore (Don't Rain On My Parade - Funny Girl), John Paul Young - Shout (Love Is In The Air) and finished with a medley from My Fair Lady which opens at the Opera House on Saturday night featuring Taryn Fiebig, Matthew Robinson and Robert Grubb.
It was a brilliant night's entertainment and the audience was very appreciative. No Ant, of course, but I did overhear someone say that if he hadn't been sick he would have done This Is The Moment instead of Peter Cousens. He did get a big mention, and Phantom got plugged several times because they were trying to boost ticket sales.Apparently ALW not happy with 95% of all seats sold! LOL. It was such a brilliant way of ending my four day break, and I'm so glad I made the effort to stay another night. Now I get to go back to work and see how long it is before my happy place gets desecrated!!

Glad to hear you had a good time ((I did keep them on, BTW )). What a turn out! And Cousens doing This Is the Moment ... ... I really don't know what to think about that ... If I could get an actual quote I'd love to be able to use that against Webber.
