Everyone's favourite smirking Lionman  Amazing performer, all around nice guy, very trusting (props to Kl for giving him a random cake) and so deserves a thread for us to talk about his performances. My LSS Simon *squee*- I ran down a hill, full on *glomped* him and got a hug! Even if posers were "ohhhhhhh"-ing at us. And his lionman is the best! |

Simon was my first Phantom, so I blame him for my addiction XD
On a more serious note, his Phantom is brilliant. It's very different to Anthony's, his voice is heaps deeper and rounder (can you describe a voice as round?) and that combined with his height gives him a really imposing presence. I love his final lair because he does this sarcastic bow on "be my guest, sir"
Anyway, if you get to see him go for it, and go stalk him at stage door. He's such a sweetheart, and really will put up with anything from fans (cue the home-made-and-decorated cake comments).
And Simon, Love the lionman XD

Simon is awesome! I've never had the pleasure of meeting him but he was my first, second and third Phantom and he was simply stunning. His Phantom is very different to Anthony's but I loved it all the same. I think his height gives him a very strong presence on the stage which is further strengthened by his tremendous acting and singing chops. I love Simon and Im so glad that he finally has a thread of his own |

I didn't notice we didn't have a thread for Simon before! And I felt much shorter than usual standing next to him, he crouched so low for the photo and if I had been wearing flatter shoes like I normally do ... he might as well have been on his knees. Can't believe I almost forgot to thank him for signing the petition too, I just got caught up in the hype of meeting him. EDIT: And now I can just imagine him doing the Wiggles hand movements. |
