^ I'll do it with you! Today he did Lionman for the kiddies, and if you watch him closely when he's sitting on the throne you can play pick the phantom mannerisms

I have some pictures from last week's TV Week and an interview with him that I've been trying to get around to uploading. Maybe tomorrow morning or Saturday!

He's just made cooler doing a kids show that rips off G&S and tells storytales. Who's up for 'We <3 King John' t-shirts?

All these shirt ideas ... I'd love it if we could create an US shop with all this stuff. We could put part of the money towards charities and set a little aside for that dream convention.
And more gift hampers for everyone, of course.

OMG!! Simon, I LOVE YOU!!!! There is just something extremely hilarious about seeing your first Phantom in a kids show. although they should have given king john pointy ears. that was a good look for Simon XD

Anyone else thinking that Roy needs a stint on this show? After all, Simon IS playing KING John... (this is a bad hark back to Robin Hood) But I thought he was utterly brilliant! I was crying with laughter over the purple cape and I admit that when they did Cinderella, I was screeching "That song's from J&H! I KNOW IT IS! I SWEAR THAT'S THE ENGAGEMENT PARTY!", although I did spot the other G & S songs. Yay for Simon!

There was one song I couldn't identify; could anyone pick what the one was between Genevive(sp?!) and Mario? Because of the "matter"s I thought for a moment it was the patter song but since they were doing Pirates and Mikado it wouldn't make sense to chuck in one from Ruddigore.

It reminded me of Buttercup's song from Pinafore, but again that doesn't fit the pattern XD

Cat-like Tread was Genevieve (the maid) and James (the butler) discussing the cast of Aladdin.
And yes, the Patter song, known as 'The Matter Patter Song' for Pirates was lifted from Ruddigore and put into Pirates for the B'way version. It wasn't the patter song on KoP though.... the "matters" just threw everyone...

The Characters are:
King John Queen Isabella Genevieve the maid James the butler Mario the costume guy Anastacia the ballerina Bobby the cop Bernadette Johnny the props guy Carlos Sarah
Can I say I want James' office? It's so awesome!

It's Queen Isabella! Since Nik covered Johnny, the others are:
Bobby Sarah Carlos

Does anyone know when KoP was filmed? I'm assuming it was before Phantom, but that does raise the question of why it wasn't shown earlier...

Wouldn't you reckon it's strategic? I mean, I hadn't even heard of Simon Pryce before Phantom ((mind, as you know I have a horrid time of keeping up with ANYTHING)). Since he's had quite a bit of fun in the spotlight in the past year' or so, releasing something with him in it now would guarantee a boost of ratings to some degree. And I've confessed to wanting the DVD; surely if they do release it the sales will be pretty good ((yes, even though Wiggles merch. gets good sales nevertheless)).

Thanks so much for adorable uploads Sandy! I'm actually babysitting at the exact time that the show is on... so perhaps i could convince Belle that she really wnats to watch it, hehe. Not sure if this has been posted (but my net connection is so bloody slow i cant check on previous pages) but here's the intro song - pay no heed to the rude poster comments! au.youtube.com/watch?v=uyrjK1I8wKw
