Need to ask because I was so overwhelmed I forgot to check when I was at the theatre last: what's the obstruction in the stalls, row C, seat 5? Same question for row G, seat 5. How much will I see? What won't I see? (I can already picture that damn door being in the way during Angel of Music.)
Ticketek people were too incompetent to know. I'd rather be crushed now before I get there. XD

Well I dont no whether uv seen the map but ur right on the end or start of the row. so from ur view sitting in the seat you probably wont b able to see some of the left hand side of the stage and i think ur probably looking slightly up at the stage. if that helps?
i was also wonderin about the Lyric Theatre in Brisbane QLD. Has anyone been ther b4? cas I might be going to see Phantom when Im up there and I was just wondrin wher the best seats usually are .. on the first balcony? stalls? etc..
thanx in advance!

Lyric Theatre from what I remember is much more open than Princess and most seats are fairly good. I saw Chicago there a few years ago and sat on the first balcony which was excellent. Going on feb 15 and sitting in second balcony cos all the rest were sold so will let you know phantasy. But from my experience, it doesn't matter where you sit, you can still hear just as well and over 75% of the show for me is an aural experience rather than visual, and if you take a small pair of binoculars like I do, it doesn't really matter, especially when you've seen the show before and know what happens far stage left or right. Hope that helps.

That whole A reserve thing is a bit misleading I reckon, but from what I've heard the Lyric is much better than the Princess sightline wise- the Princess is a hard theatre to pick seats for if you don't know it....

So I'll be able to see most of Anthony the important stuff, yeah? Would it be better to sit on the end of row C or G?

Sitting all the way in the front row isn't so bad though; I mean, when you're that close it's just a hop and a jump and you're close enough to touch the performers.
Not that I did the hop and the jump ...
Well I sort of did, but not ... in ... the ...

I'll shut up now.

Well, I got both the tickets and am now dragging my little brother along for the fun. I'll just relegate him to the worse seat. XD
(Maybe I'll go G for Act 1, C for curtain call Act 2.)

We were thinking glow sticks- we could stick them around the outside of our masks so that when we stand up you can see them outlined in the dark!

Although then we might distract him too much, and if they do a run and jump bow he might miscalculate his steps.... Disaster!
