- When you're in the Newsagent looking over the back-to-school products on sale and you start having a laugh attack - much to the fear of fellow shoppers - when you see that sharpies only cost $1.50 ((and being incapable of explaining the hilarity of it all)).

Sharpies are now a hazard- if I see them in public uncontrollable giggles will ensue!
I havea few... - When the item you order off eBay arrives from Wollongong, and you get excited, because maybe they knew Ant way back when. - When the example work brief you're given in photography has the example theme of Fitzroy and you can't stop giggling. - When you hear a certain car brand mentioned on the radio and you turn it up, even though they're talking to some design guy and you really know nothing about cars. - When the teacher at your school who looks like Ant is walking behind you (without your knowledge) and then says "Anthony!" behind you (talking to a kid in the corridor) and you jump a mine because a) he looks like Ant and b) you thought he saw your English binder, which has an A4 copy of Unwinding's Sharpie ad on it XD

You actually printed it? That would kill me if a teacher saw that on my schoolbooks. - When your friend just asked you for a copy of the Phantom CD. Little does she know, you refuse to spread MC's filth. (She's gonna get a surprise when she flicks on the CD, heheheheh...)

Before we went off to Melbourne in November, I sent Caitlin and entire compilation CD of all Ant's MotN tracks ... plus a few more tracks ...

-When you take pictures of the teacher at school who looks like Ant, from behind...with your phone.. XD

^ That made my day!
- When you pick up Phantom symbolism in nearly every scene of your school play. - When you plot to emphasise said symbolism. - When your Aunt's friend tells you she's looking at moving, possibly to Fitzroy, and you wonder how you can test how long it takes you to get from the Princess to there....in 10 minutes. - When you see Crownies are on special at the local bottle shop and smile to yourself.

- When you wear same clothes to see Phantom in Brisbane as you did in December when you saw Ant three times in two days in the hope that it will mean Ant will be on.
- when you wear the same jewelry to see Phantom in Brisbane as you did in Melbourne the day you met Ant, as a talisman to ensure he will be on.

^ You sound like me, when I wore shoes that gave me blisters to try and ensure Ant was on- it turns out the other shoes, which I thought were a curse, weren't...my feet suffered in vain! XD

- When you see this guy's t-shirt has a skull on it and think it really looks like Red Death.
(Thank God I refrained from commenting; he turned around, revealing a skeleton with a guitar and the words, "Rock on!" XD)

There's a lot of places that sell every Sharpie colour on the planet but silver- maybe we should petition that? Or get Ant on them!
- When your day is made because the teacher who looks like Ant says "Hi" to you. - When your new singing teacher has a Phantom poster on the wall, and spends a good 10 minutes discussing Ant with you and using him as examples for technique....

I WANT YOUR SINGING TEACHER!! ((not THAT way, shut up!)) That's right. Don't settle for second best. XD - You'd probably sit through an episode of Petals just to hear his voice.

- You get bored in drama and make a phantom mask out of paper - You get excited when you find one of the school bands are learning "orange coloured sky" and instantly insist they listen to Ant's version - You spaz when someone says they "hate musical theatre" but soften up when they say they heard phantom was really good and wished they'd seen it

Sorry about the missing posts everyone; sadly I can't do anything about it. Oh, and I still haven't been able to track down Petals in any DVD place ... my last resort is eBay.
- You ((for once)) leap at the chance to learn a song your vocal teacher has suggested, merely because it comes from Patience.* - You immediately e-mail Warlow tracks to your vocal teacher when you learn she is learning to play the violin, and the last song in her beginner's book is Cavatina.**
* She thought I was laughing because she suspected I was "shocked" at hearing "a version in English", which was a great introduction to spill my Ant goss ... and you know, the Music on the Murray committee talked to his agent to try and rope him in for next year', but damn, has that man got a high salary or what?! Michael joked that since I was "in" with him I should ask him to perform on a discount. XD
** Funny how things worked out; she slapped on the disc from Alexa's Listen and Learn violin book and hey started with a musical intro of Cavatina ... naturally I had to sing along, and she's thrilled at the thought of getting lyrics to teach the song to her younger students ((even if it is a slash of She Was Beautiful, but even so, I've got She Was Beautiful in my great big ever faithful Yamaha book for piano, guitar and voice, and it fits perfectly with Cavatina ... I should research that)). YOUNGER STUDENT CONVERSIONS!!

Did you know that the words for Cavatina were written by the English jazz great Cleo Laine, and it was originally titled "He Was Beautiful"? It first appeared on her absolutely fabulous CD called "Best Friends" which is just her accompanied by guitarist John Williams. It's worth getting a hold of for her interpretation of lyrics (there simply isn't a better female jazz singer IMO) and John Williams' stunning arrangements. I have a copy. PM me if anyone is interested. It may not be in print any more.
And back on topic
- you get excited when you watch the first episode of ITT (that you taped while you were away) and notice when they are intro-ing D Hobson that they play a short grab from Pirates featuring the Pirate King.
- you are doing this week's TV Week crossword and you get excited when one of the clues is _______ of the Opera.

and you know, the Music on the Murray committee talked to his agent to try and rope him in for next year', but damn, has that man got a high salary or what?! Is he back with an agent now? Last I heard he was representing himself... I have got to keep up with these things! - When your psychology teacher starts every conversation with you by asking "What's Anthony up to today?" and confuses the hell out of the guy in your class named Anthony! - When your English teacher is using examples of conflict in modern media, and uses the final lair scene as an example. - When you try and figure out how to work Phantom music into your school production- it will happen! - When you nearly cry when you break the chain on your Phantom necklace* - When you feel like making a complaint because a stationary store stocks every colour Sharpie but silver! * It's getting fixed so all is right with the world XD

So that's it! I knew there had to be some reason. I've actually got someone else's recording of Cavatina ((Annalise someone-or-other)) but I've never listened to it ((being forgetful)). I'm struggling to play She Was Beautiful on the guitar ((some chords are just ... no)) so it'd be nice to hear a guitar arrangement.
So Hobson is still a regular on ITT? I don't know why we don't watch that ... the folks must be watching something else at that time.
EDIT: I'm just relaying what Michael said; who knows when the MotO Committee actually talked to him about joining us, though. ((Oh, and we won the SA Great award for MotO again; so that means Michael and Alexa are going to dine at Parliament House and receive a second glass green pear on behalf of the choir)).
