From reading the support board, there are a lot of people out there who are still having BIG problems!! With a bit of luck when the guys get back to wherever they live from Texas they will be able to find the "lost posts". Given the number of forums they host, that's going to be one mother of a job!!

Yeah, the poor blokes have been running themselves ragged; all this trouble in the space of 5 hours'.
I'm not particularly worried about the lost posts; it's only from yesterday and a bit of the day before, really, and we tend to post up a storm anyway. Nothing major was lost ((like the petition)).

- When your stomach leaps, you do a double-take and start laughing all at once when your mum remarks, "You know, we haven't had any ANTS all year!"* - You take it as a favourable sign from the gods when you spend a whole day at school finding random ants crawling on you!**
*Yes, she was referring to the utterly harmless, insect types but I still lived in hope! **I cold never even think of killing an ant anymore and I feel terrible when other people do! XD

I feel kinda guilty about killing spiders (well, getting other people to kill them for me!) I'm always whisked back to that scene in Kay's Phantom where Christine makes Erik murder the spider.

I haven't acquainted myself with Kay's Phantom yet ((mind there's a lot I haven't acquainted myself with, but I'm working on it)), but I've always had a reluctance to kill spiders.
Even the huntsman that was crawling up my leg under the sheets as I was about to go to sleep.
Funny though, I'm quite willing to kill a snake; even though I want a Murray Darling Python.

The scene I'm referring to (from Christine's POV): ...And I cried too! Christine, how insensitive can you get? I'd put up with spiders for Erik's sake (or at least kill them myself when he wasn't around. >.>)

Good grief ... it was just a spider!

Embrace the symbolism, Mar. Embrace.
Besides, Erik's a tad loony, he's allowed to freak out over stuff like that. *iluverik*

I didn't mean it about Erik crying over it; that passage just made me think of Christine as even more of a girly girl than ever before.

Oh, I see. Guess I'm just overly defensive when it comes to Erik. XD He owns me so bad.
(And yeah, Christine's particularly annoying in that passage.)

Erik's reaction is perfectly understandable ...
We're going to be nightmares to future husbands, I just know it.

^ That's an optimistic way of looking at things. Who says we'll find husbands? XD
Maybe we could just settle for a Gay Boyfriend (aka Raoul).

We're going to be nightmares to future husbands, I just know it. You'll both be fine! You just need to make sure that you find a husband that "gets" you, and indulges your flights of fantasy. Mine didn't and it was an absolute effing disaster. They don't necessarily have to share your passion (that's what on-line friends are for!) ..... But it's pretty important that they understand that you even have a passion, and that you must indulge yourself to maintain mental health. (It took a year's worth of counselling for me to work this out, and come to the realisation that the whole disaster wasn't my fault. Money well spent I think!!!)

lol isn't counseling fun/expensive? i'd rather go spend money on a show (or militaria) then to "talk" to someone (specifically people who want money for it...) XD
oh and i hate spiders, i spray them white with mortein....

I do that with flies and mozzies. I tend to ignore spiders, or try to usher them outside, or if I'm in one of my can't-be-stuffed moods I'll just warn mum that there's one about.

I don't trust therapists- break down that word and you'll see why XD
Back on the topic...
- When you smile to yourself when a customer buys Herbal Essence - When you burst into laughter at the Dolmio ad- "Wear the Dolmio Grin!" - When you're unpacking new craft stuff at work and see a mask kit with a silver half mask on the front (misleading, as the kit is for a carnivale style mask!) - When you get excited about staying with your grandparents for two days because you know it'll be an Ant-fest.

*giggletantrum* I don't think that's too much to ask of any super-hero, but only if he wears his undies on the top! I think Superman is all the poorer for the lack of pink tights (and the long boots, and the velvet tunic!!)

I love how these Erik smilies are getting such a workout. ^)_____^ (lol, Erik never smiles that much.)
- When your friend says, "I was violated by ants," and you have a very loud coughing fit. (She later explained she sat on an ant nest while wearing a dress and they crawled to places they shouldn't have!XD)
