Because I'm stupid I didn't make this before I sent out the e-mails, hence no link. But if you're seeing this, hopefully you got the e-mail. If not, here it is again:
Now I know we all love our Herbal Essence Man ((well, the regulars do, you poor non-regulars have no idea what we're on about)), but after my rare session of watching TV ((I don't watch it that much these days)) I saw an ad that got me to thinking.
What if - and this is a what if, not one of those "DO IT OR I KILL JOO!" things ((you don't know how painful it was to type that)) - we enter the Pantene Pro V Make A Wish competition in aid of the petition? I've only just thought of this, so I haven't come up with all the details yet, but we could grab a bottle, rip the barcode and enter with our wish to obtain a recording ((CD, DVD, both)) of The Phantom of the Opera.
It's a thought, at least. A whole army of people wishing the same thing, and should we win ((it'd be a damn surprise, but you gotta think of the possibilities)) we could use that money to fund the recording, or - for example - a trip to Lord Webber's office for as many people as we can afford so we can knock on his door and have a nice long discussion on why this recording should happen and ... such. And I know it says women, but that's rather sexist of them. If - IF - we do do this I'd like as many people involved as possible, whatever the gender. At least it'd grab some attention, right?
