Hello all. I'm 'avin' a bitta twuuble. *confuzed* On the top right of my screen on this group, there occasionally appears something - but it's never there long enough for me to read completely - let alone to click onto. I have seen, though, that I have 1 message; but HOW do I get to it? *confuzed* *thud2* What I was able to make out this time - after several page refreshes - is this. "Hey, phantomsphriend, you have 1 message, 1 is new" Can somebody please tell me how I access my message? Thanks. Take Care, The Ph-ANT-om'S Phriend Forever, Jaime. ;D

Hi Jaime, I'm not sure if you are having trouble with this site, because that notification should not vanish from your screen. It should always be there on the top, it lets you know when you have a Private Message (PM). Try to click on the actual number of messages next time you see it and you may be able to PM Marie-Cris for some help. If not keep asking here and someone more computer savvy than me may know what the problem is.

Actually, that's just what happens as the skin loads. (I'm using Purple at the moment but it happens with Phantom too.) Go to the very bottom right hand corner of your screen and you should see a PMs. It's in the Forum Statistics box just beneath Newest Member.
Hope that helps. *^_^*

You're using FireFox, I take it *XD*
The code was originally meant to place the "Hello, you have such anc such messages" UNDER the banner, but it appears to only function that way in Internet Explorer ((which I LOATHE)). To get to your messages otherwise, go to the home page and scroll down to the bottom to view the INFO CENTRE ((how many users have been online, et cetera)). On the right hand side of the very first bar it will display the total members count, the name of the newest member to register, and underneath that there's your personal messages, saying how many you've received and how many are new. Clicking either of those two numbers will lead you directly to your inbox.
Hope that's helped.

THANK YOU TO THE FOLLOWING MEMBERS:- unwinding_fantasy, Marie-Cris, & jazzgirl1960. Yes, Marie-Cris, I am using Firefox. And jazzgirl 1960. I did have a look at this group on IE, and the Private Message notification does stay up on the screen, whereas, with Firefox, which I use, it never stays up on the screen. However, thanks to unwinding_fantasy's, Marie-Cris's, and your wonderful assistance, I now have it all under control. Thank you all again, soooo verrrry, verrrry, verrrry, verrrry muuuuch. Take Care, The Ph-ANT-om'S Phriend Forever, Jaime.
