Don't tell me I'm going to have to go and live in the UK again. I had been planning a trip to see my parents perhaps if he is in London I can take them to see him. Dad is a big fan already. He listens to Anthony and because he knows I listen to the same CD's we can imagine were listening together. Last time I phoned him he asked how Anthony was before he asked about his grandchildren.
Mar why done's my screen go completely onesided sometimes? I also sometimes get views of a file/directory structure.

Uh ... I don't know. I'm not even sure I know what you're talking about. The closest thing I can imagine is the Bookmarks shortcut in FireFox (Ctrl + B)

Next time it happens I'll try to get some screen shots and get them to you

By one-sided do you mean that everything is pushed to the side and its kind of elongated? That is to do with your internet not loading properly. Not sure about the directory thing though...

I've seen that too, it's to do with your avatars. There are a couple that look like screen shots and they do take up a fair bit of the page.

Ah, that would be tinypic's fault. I have to trowl through my randomiser to work out which ones tinypic have removed and / or replaced with odd pictures I didn't upload.

Yeah, yeah, blame it on tinypic.

I think I've fixed it now (finally). I'll have to do the mood theme ones someday too.

Anthony did say it will be a few years down the track for Zhivago to hit the other countries and he has first dibs on whether or not he is going to do it!

I know it'd be awesome for him and all, but....
*sigh*
If he has first dibs, rather than actually being tied into it, maybe he'll find something else he'd rather do?

He sounds rather set on going though, and it'll be good for him to get more exposure internationally; heck, not just for him but for Australia. He'd be like representative for the talent we've got here, and maybe it'll ((eventually)) set off a chain of cast recordings etc. for us.
At the same time, DON'T GO, WE'LL MISS YOU!!!!!!!!!!!

But if we had an Australian Cast Recording wouldn't that be a good publicity for any future production. It wouldn't matter if the show changed. ALW is selling the LND CD as a concept album in Melbourne and that show has changed drastically.
They could get two bites at the cherry, people could buy the original album and then the one for the show they see.
We need to move a bit on the campaign. You never know.
Anyway I don't want him to go abroad but I want the whole world to appreciate his talent, so I suppose what will be will be.

If abroad includes NZ I'm all for it... *ahem*
Well if we can't get an Australian cast recording, then a Broadway or London recording staring Anthony would be sweet.

Unless he doesn't end up going overseas, in which case the Broadway or West End version wouldn't have Anthony. But it would also be minus Luke Joslin, Martin Crewes, Taneel van Zyl, etc. One man, no matter how awesome he is, does not a whole show make.
It's well and truly time for Anthony to do another recording for us, and I desperately want Dr Zhivago on CD, but it's not just him. They all did a fantastic job, and I think they all deserve to be recorded.

One man, no matter how awesome he is, does not a whole show make. Unless it's Song to Sing-O. Now, I'm thinking that we may not succeed in this little stint; more people are disliking the page each day and none of the e-mails are getting responses. While I do still want a recording ((and can't understand why they can't just pull a Les Mis and get them all to step into a recording studio no matter where they are)), the reality of the situation is hitting home.

Mar I was wondering why I was getting email about the FB page and then discovered you made me an admin. That's fine. Was there anything you wanted me to do or more importantly not do.

I made you an admin because you've had such a big part in all of this, it only seemed fair. And, if you think of anything to be done with the page, instead of waiting for one of us to finally get around to doing so, you can do it in an instant

Thanks. You guys have put a lot of hard work into this don't sell yourselves short I did the easy stuff.
I have had a few ideas:
I will put a post in the campaign section so we don't have this stuff spread everywhere.
EDIT OMG 7 Helpmann nominations and no cast recording!!!!

I will shed tears of blood if Anthony and Martin do not get wins. TEARS OF BLOOD. On another note, I'll forever be laughing at Love Never Dies being nominated for Best Musical.

School holidays are soon so I'm gonna take the time to go downtown to the city centre library and find the novel.

Tears of blood, wow I hope not because somehow I have this sneaking suspision that Mary Poppins is going to clean up and I can see Matt Lee getting the best lead. Tough one between Martin and Philip Quast for supporting but as I only saw Philip's understudy I can't really comment.
Lets keep fingers crossed though for Zhivago to get a couple of the big awards.

I reckon Mary Poppins will clean house too, but I hope it's not in those categories! I think it will pick up Best Musical and Best Director. Should be interesting though! As for Philip Quast, he did everything he could with the role. I do hold a soft spot for him but Pasha/Strelnikov seems more challenging, and Martin was awesome.
I won't deny it: I would be sad if Matt Lee won. I didn't mind him as Bert and naturally he's a fantastic dancer but after Anthony's revamped Phantom lost to the Billy Elliot kids I feel like it would be a real shame if he lost again, considering how much he's put into Doctor Zhivago.
Fingers crossed, definitely!

I wish I'd seen Mary Poppins.... oh well, at least I got to see Zhivago! (thanks!) And I've still got to finish that review that I promised... must stop procratinating...
I hope Anthony and Martin win. They were both so incredibly awesome...

How do the Helpman Awards work? If a show has won once is it not eligible for any nominations again? I just wondered because I couldn't see any nominations for my favourite show at all.

Not sure about that but I do know that the producers can pick which year their show will be nominated in, hence why Rock of Ages has none this year.

I think maybe they can enter different people? Because I am pretty sure Amanda Harrison was nominated for Wicked a couple of years ago, and now Jemma Rix is nominated. It might have to do with if it is touring, I don't know.
