I randomly found this through internet that a magazine called Fine Music contains an interview with Anthony in its Feb. 2006 issue. Here is the website: www.2mbs.com/Default.aspx?tabid=488It gives only a brief excerpt, but the first paragraph is interesting: I don't know he maintains his own website. And I'm interested in the "he would reprise his lead role in Phantom of the Opera" thing. Anyone here get the chance to read the original article?

Dad tried to get that magazine for me, but it was sold out when he went to get it. Which was a shame. I wish I could have got an Anthony article! It's a cute article. I like that mention about rose gardening as I love doing rose gardening when I have time. (which isnt' much but still!)

Unfortunately I'm not much of a magazine reader; had I known about this magazine I would be! I didn't know he actaully maintained his website; I thought he had someone doing that for him, and he'd contribute messages now and again. I really wish he'd talk to the people on his friends list on MySpace though; I'd love to have a chat with him, even if it is only virtual.
Fast eater? Sounds like my nephew. OMG! He loves cooller weather! *dies* I LOVE the cooller weather!

Oh, I came across the link somewhere, but I'm not sure whether it's him who created the space. It's got three or four songs and nothing else, as I remember.

It probably isn't. I doubt someone like him would even have time for a myspace.

It really doesn't have much on it, to tell you the truth. He's got a friends list of people who look like regular joes; and yes, there's only 3 songs on it. Confontation, Music of the Night, and ... and ... *tries to remember, can't* something else. *looks up* OH SHHHHHHHHHHHH ... oot. "Invalid Friend ID. This user has either cancelled their membership, or their account has been deleted." What a bum! Well ... at least I've got Confrontation still running on my page. Which reminds me I should edit that some day; half of the graphics have that "error" cross on them - Goddess only knows what happened to the site I got them from.
Oh Goddess ... Australia's first phantom, the world's youngest phantom, the world's youngest Papageno ... To have a career like that! *sighs*

Exactly so *snort* And he had the lucky break of being discovered at 19 ((I'm 19 now, and where am I? Exactly)). I fear the only break I'll ever get is if I make a fake audition to Australian Idol and get noticed.
But prey I never get that desperate.

I hate it when people come up to me and say: "Oh, you should go in Idol." "Why haven't we seen you on Idol?" "You're" [insert town here]'s Idol" "Go on, go on Idol" - I don't WANNA go on Idol! All you get is 15 minutes of fame then you virtually disappear into the ever increasing black hole of the music industry. Better to be a stage performer on Broadway or similar without deaf-tone 12 year' olds running up to you and trying to yank your top off just because you won a mediocre vocal competition that sure as hell wouldn't give as much satisfaction as would being on the boards would. One of my high school classmates ((a real bitch, I hate her flamin' guts)) auditioned for Australian Idol when we were in Year' 12 - she didn't even get past the first panel to sing in front of the judges! ((good, because she's a wanna-be anyway)) Then she comes back and starts roaring: "Oh, they said I was good but they're not looking for too many with my style this year'" ((she did Christina Aguilera or whatever her name is - a lot of girls auditioned with her songs that year')) and all that jazz. What's the flamin' point? And why should people think I should audition for Idol anyway, just because I sing in the community choir, and mostly sing classical? ARE THEY THINKING?! Did they drink out of the Murray or something? For crying out loud, they're looking for popers and rockers and all those other genres that I wish I could sing but just CAN'T because of how my voice has been trained. WHY CAN'T THEY UNDERSTAND THAT?!?
...
I'm sorry, I'm venting in the wrong thread.

Haha, no, don't worry about it. I agree with you about Idol though: It's crap. It's only 15 minutes of fame and boom, you're gone. Where's Guy Sebastien now? I never hear a thing about him. Luckily I've never been told to audition for Idol, thank god, lol.

The last I heard of Guy he was in one of those 3rd World countries doing charity or gospel ((or both)) work. Although I could just ask my brother next week; he LOOOOOVES Guy Sebastian ((no he's not gay, he just likes him)). Casey what'sherface was a complete flop, Shannon was a one hit wonder and Anthony ... well I don't know. I'm glad he made some of the ignorants more aware of the classical genre when he sang Prayer, but it's a shame that it's taken something like Idol to get the ball rolling ((I know about Amici and et cetera, but 12 year' old girls tend to lean towards shows like Idol than listening to good radio stations)).
And you ... you're so damn lucky.

As Wicked has proven, Idol can get you places.

I'm still in shock over the fact that Millsy was a decent Fieryo. that was completely unexpected for me.

And once you've seen Daniel you finally have to admit exactly how much you love Rob.
...granted, I've loved him as Yero for a long while. Darling boy.
