Minutes before my internet access was to be turned off for the day, and too late to put the news here, I discovered Anthony was to be co-hosting the programme "Circle" this morning. I just found that it's being posted ín sections on the Annie facebook page at www.facebook.com/annieaustralia?sk=wall. Well it's links they're putting up there, not the actual video. Enjoy!

did anyone record this? I was at work and missed it. The web site doesn't seem to work very well either.

Is this meant to be viewable outside Australia or does Channel 10 have a lousy website?

I think the site is the problem. If anyone has any sort of recording I can usually sort it out. I can transfer Video tape to DVD and even put it up on a server for everyone to download so let me know. My boss has ordered counselling for me because I missed this. Even seeing David Hobson tonight is never going to make up for missing Anthony!!!

OK ladies, don't panic! I had to go to the dentist while it was on so I did record it; but it's over two hours and includes, as well as normal commercials, many segments of advertising chat about cosmetics and I don't know what else - I skipped them when watching. Wish I'd been here to pause the recording process then. For the website the only tip I can give at the moment is to select first the one entitled "Around the circle chat". When that clip ends there are ads, then it seems to pick up again, but not at the same spot as on my continuous recording (the camera angle is a bit different too so I reckon it's a separate recording they're using for that). I will watch more of them to see whether it's all there in the end. And Mazza I will PM you to discuss what we could do if the website seems hopeless. Oh, and just so you know, I would like to add that even though I am retired and at home in the day, I'm definitely not into daytime TV, and had never heard of this programme until yesterday!! I only knew about it because I checked the Annie pages!
Mazza re David Hobson I would feel the same but - if that's the show with Teddy Tahu Rhodes you'll love it - I saw it here on the first night of the tour. Don't know if they always do but they did a signing after, so you could talk briefly. My mistake was to be near the front of that queue so I had to get out of the way of other people sooner than I'd have liked!

Cythia
You are a life saver. (Chocolate being manufactured as we speak). Thanks for the hint about the show tonight. I brought some dvds and cds in just incase I could get David to sign them. I think I might buy the "You'll never walk alone" album for my dad and get that signed for him.
By the Way I now sell my chocolates and sweets. I have 17 types of truffles based on Anthony's shows. The Guys & Dolls have been popular as they have bacardi in. The Pirates have sherry in. Others have fruit flavouring etc. I wanted to send the whole collection to Anthony for his birthday but chocolate in the post is not a ggod idea and even a courier is doubtful in hot weather. Then where do I send them? Might wait until the next show and take a full set for him.

Get that album anyway as it's lovely - you can probably buy it there - they had them available in Canberra.
Would be nice if you could send the chocs for his birthday but tragic if they melted.

I realise this is a double post but as it's next day I hope it can be forgiven. Mazza and Tori I don't know in what way the Circle website was acting up for you, but I let the whole set of clips run through last night and it seemed fine, I also think that pretty much everything is there, thankfully without the many product promotion segments. It has been edited, eg the cooking is all in a continuous piece instead of scattered through the show, and the sequence is not quite the same, but without watching the clips and my own recording side by side, I don't think anything significant is missing. The direct link is ten.com.au/the-circle-video.htm?movideo_p=40522&movideo_m=141816. When the ad finishes, the first clip (called Around the Circle Chat) should start and all the others appear in the box on the right - I think there are nine for 15 Nov. When the first finished, there was an ad and it moved on to the next clip and so on automatically. But if that doesn't happen for you maybe creating a play list with the nine clips would help - there's a button to do that but I haven't tried it.

Well, the website doesn't work for me either. I was thinking it could only be viewed within Australia or somthing. Could anyone upload the video if possible?

Mazza have you had any luck viewing it? Anyone? I can't see anything on Channel Ten's site to say videos are for viewing only in Australia, but maybe you'd only see such a message if you're trying from elsewhere.

That link isn't doing anything for me. It just comes up with "To watch video, click on channels to the right", and theres nothing that says 'Around the Circle Chat'. =/ Maybe it can't be viewed outside Aussie.

What a shame - and I thought I was doing a good turn! Unless being overseas is the problem, you have to let the adverts which are running when the page opens finish, then the first clip should kick in on the left - at the same time the list of clips will appear in the box on the right. There were nine of them and it was on 15th. But try again quickly because they're right at the bottom of the list now and may disappear tomorrow. Problems viewing in Australia are a puzzle, as they all run perfectly for me and I don't think my internet connection is anything special. Unfortunately the recording I made is a tricky format, and over two hours long with masses of advertising. If we can't find a solution for the video I could do a transcript of the parts where Anthony was chatting - not the same as seeing him I know, but better than nothing maybe.

No ads or anything appears. I'd assume thats because of the advertising deal- why would they display ads for Australian products for Australians outside Australia? If if the show being screened on the internet is being sponsored by those products, and their ads aren't worth screening in New Zealand or elswhere, then the show wont be screened here either.
That's my guess anyway. Hope it makes sense.

Okay, saw the vid, obviously not a lot for 9 minutes, but I will say this: He's not wearing the usual grey suit.

So I posted the highlights on youtube for those of you who can't view the online video. Thanks to Cynthia and mazza, for recording and uploading the vids. www.youtube.com/watch?v=jivmjBnYqPgI don't know why the audio falls a little bit behind the picture, but I think it doesn't annoy that much.
